Since its foundation in 1991, the key goal of CONFIND

Company was to bring the most recent trends of the
complex and exclusive area of equipments,
installations and components manufacturing,

A special position among companys activities, is held by the manufacturing and

erection of large storage tanks for crude oil, gasoline, diesel, kerosene according
to API 650 and EN 14015. Within the last 7 years, our company has built various
types of new tanks in Romania, Kazakhstan, Sudan, Hungary, Russia.

Shell lifting technique

Confind is using the most advanced

erection techniques including:
Hydraulic shell lifting;
All vertical seams welded by

automatic welding;
Circumferential welding seams by
self propelled overhanging cage
provided with submerged arc
machines.

Tank's roof can be fixed (conical,
domes, etc.) or floating. On demand,
fixed-roof tanks can be equipped with
floating internal membrane.

Tank roof lifting technique

Automatic submerged arc welding for circular seams

All vertical welding seams are made
by means of automatic welding
tractors using MAG welding with
synergy sources and ceramic
support.
Circumferential welding seams are
performed by means of self
propelled overhanging cage
provided with submerged arc
machines.
