CONTROL MEASURES
Existing control measures taken
against the risk

ACTION PLAN
What further control
measures are required when
and by whom

1) Avoid wires by being aware

where they are and being
careful not to trip up.
2) Treat equipment with care and
be careful with behaviour in
photography studio: Do not
run.
3) Make sure all sockets and wires
are safe for use, and do not
have water out in the studio.
4) Move bags out of the way of
walking i.e. on a table.

1) Move any wires that are

not needed out of the way
so that it reduces the
amount of wires that are
causing a risk.
2) Make sure all equipment is
left in a secure condition so
that it doesnt fall and
break/hurt people.
3) Turn all sockets off when
finished needing electrical
equipment.
4) Leave bags in classroom

*2 This is without control measures

F = fatal
Maj = major injury or permanent disability
Min = minor injury
NR = non-reportable

*3 This is with control measures in place

Fr = frequent/likely/could occur repeatedly/expected
Pr = probable/not surprised/might occur often
Ps = possible/could occur sometime
R = remote/unlikely but conceivable
U = unlikely/improbable such that likelihood is almost zero
