who lives in Israel) review many historical facts and
sites of the nation, but he will also take us through
both Jewish and Palestinian areas explaining the
impact and differences of each.

* LFBI Israel Discovery Mission Trip: We will be touring many biblical sites throughout Israel the last ten days of November, as we
visit our missionary contacts and make some new ones! Some of the contacts we will be supporting are Evan Levine of Hatikva Project
(ministering to Jewish believers), Pastor Steven Khourys church in Jerusalem (ministering to Arab believers), Pastor Naim Khourys church in
Bethlehem (ministering to Arab believers), Tass Abu Saada (former member of Yassir Arafat's forces, who became a Christian), and Jewish
territories in Judea organized by Christian Friends of Israeli Communities. This trip will be very diverse and multi-faceted. It is our desire to
represent Christ as an example of those who are in Christ where there is neither Jew nor Gentile. Not only will Yoni (our Messianic guide)
review many historical facts and sites of the nation, but he will also take us through both Jewish and Palestinian areas explaining the impact and
differences of each. Pastor Alan Shelby will be teaching us a biblical series on Israel (and this class can be counted for credit in LFBI).
** Israel Missionary Contacts Background with LFBI churches: MBT has been looking for ways to support Israel and
working on developing missionary contacts there for about 5 years.. We began communicating with Khourys about 5 years ago. Pastor Steven
Khoury came and spoke at MBT and has the same philosophy as we do. In fact his father Naim was trained under Pastor Beauchamp Vick
(amazing story too).. Evan Levine is a Messianic Christian that we met several years ago and has also spoke at MBT. He is the director of the
Hatikva Project; an organization in Israel that helps Jewish believers.. Tass AbuSaada (former member of Yassir Arafat's forces, who became a
Christian) is Ben AbuSaadas dad (Ben is associate pastor at Tim Howeys church).. Tass wrote the book Once an Arafat Man and is affiliated
with many from our sister churches. Christian Friends of Israel Communities is a group we met at John Hagees Annual Conference for Israel in
Washington. They are helping Jewish communities/territories in Israel. We are also trying to set up meetings with several other missionaries. If
