MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 01-2014

AMENDING SECTION 8, PARAGRAPH (2) OF MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 042012, ESTABLISHING A FACILITY-BASED DELIVERY FOR ALL PREGNANT
MOTHERS TO BE ATTENDED BY SKILLED BIRTH ATTENDANTS IN THE
MUNICIPALITY OF GUINOBATAN, ALBAY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in session assembled

that:
Section 1. Amendatory Provision. Section 8, Paragraph (2) of Municipal Ordinance No.
04-2012, is hereby amended to read as follows:
2. Implement Uniform and Affordable Charges.

For PhilHealth Cardholders Free of Charge (Reimbursement per patient by

PhilHealth) up to 4th pregnancy only including newborn screening. Provided,
however, that for the 5 th pregnancies and above, an amount of One Thousand
Pesos (PhP1,000.00) shall be charged per delivery.

For the Non-PhilHealth Members but are not classified as indigent (Level 5 CHLSS
poorest among the poor with ID Issued) shall pay a corresponding fee of One
Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP1,500.00) per delivery and the amount of Six
Hundred Pesos (PhP600.00) for newborn screening.

Section 2. Effectivity. This amendatory ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
ENACTED: FEBRUARY 17, 2014 on third and final reading.
