WORK EXPERIENCE
Bank of the West
Vice President
I was hired as a Senior Manager to design and implement various Treasury products to enhance liquidity and
profitability while meeting current Federal and State compliance guidelines. I managed all third party
relationships within the financial industry as well as support organizations like ECCHO and SVPCo. I chaired the
internal Payments Forum that met with senior management on a quarterly basis to discuss future product
development and their impact on treasury services and bank operations. I managed and performed work
improvement projects throughout the bank. I have spoken at the BAI Annual CheckImage conferences on Float
and Remote Deposit Capture. I managed and maintained daily and weekly management reports and provided
monthly updates to Executive Management. Some of my major accomplishments include:
Increased bank liquidity by $250 million by re-designing and developing segmented customer availability
schedules.
Achieved $2 million annual decrease in check clearing expenses by negotiating third party vendor
contracts.
Reduced the banks compliance risk by implementing deposit availability guidelines and policies to meet
Federal and State regulations.
Introduced new reporting tools and reports to measure bank liquidity and loss exposure within the
payment space.
Improved identifying internal processing costs by developing and designing reporting tools that measured
monthly operating expenses with Item Processing and Treasury Operations.
Improved the pricing matrixes for inbound RFPs to ensure that internal overhead components were
properly priced.
Successfully completed a 3 year educational program at the prestigious Pacific Coast Banking School
where I graduated with honors.
Successfully started a quarterly Payments Forum that met with senior managers throughout the bank to
discuss market payment trends and product development
