Process flow for installation of m_passbook application

The user needs to download the application Cent m-passbook from Android play store.
Install the application on Mobile Phone. Click on the application.
m_passbook application will start running with Banks building in the background.
Then select the Language ( At present application available in Hindi / English)

5. For registration, enter the User ID (i.e. the CIF of the Customer) and registered mobile number.

6. The application shall authenticate the user from CBS and after authentication OTP (which is
a 6 digit number) sent to the registered mobile number.
7. After the OTP is entered correctly, the application shall prompt to generate the password
(MPin). User can generate 4 digit numeric password (MPin) of his choice. This MPin
should be generated by the user himself and used for any future access to the facility.

8. After generation of the password (MPin), user shall re-enter the same and the application
would sync for the first time which will take at least 2 to 3 minutes.
9. If the 4 digit password (MPin) is lost or forgotten by the customer, he can generate new
MPin by using Forgot your MPin option provided on the main screen.

10. After input of MPin, all details available in CBS shall be provided/displayed to the
customer over the Mobile phone.
11. Various features like Account Details, Passbook and personal ledger shall be available.

The Account Details option displays all the account linked to the users CIF.
The Passbook field shows the passbook of various accounts as per user selection.
Default setting can be changed by the user as per choice.
Customer has option to change the choice of language under Settings option.
The Personal Ledger is a transaction manager, where the customer can mark the
transactions in the passbook and add their own transactions also.
Select the transaction which needs to be marked in the personal ledger. Any
personalized remarks can be added.

The feature of transaction search is also available.

The user can also share the transaction details, branch details by various modes

available as under:

12. Personal ledger is a feature where the user can make note of the transactions done for
specific purpose.

13. The feature of giving feedback, alerts and offers is also available.

User can give his/her feedback relating to the application.


New Offers/Schemes launched by bank can be viewed in the OFFERS link.
Bank alerts can be prompted to the customers

14. The customer has an option to change the password/MPin through Change MPin option.
