When researching checklists for the 737-800, it became evident that no one set checklist
exists. Yes, there is generally a common flow of primary procedures, but the articulation of
those procedures varies. This resource is based on a previous Aussie Star FS publication,
Flying the NGX: A Flight Crew Operations Manual for the Boeing 737-800 NGX. That
publication was itself based on research primarily the Flight Crew Operations Manual
(FCOM) for the Boeing 737-800. The designed of this resource combines both procedures
and checklists so that by following them you should be able to develop proficiency in the
operation of this aircraft.
As with all Aussie Star FS publications there is no guarantee as to the accuracy of the
information provided. While I once held a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) I dont profess to be an
aviation expert. Any identified inaccuracies or suggestions for improvement will be
welcomed.
This publication is being made available to the flight simulation community as a freeware
product so long as copyright provisions are adhered to. You may print or download to a local
hard disk all or extracts for your personal and non-commercial use only. You may copy the
