Group Rules

"Business, Defense & Law" intends to gather professionals, from the whole World, with
interests dealing with any of the referred areas. More specifically, are welcomed Company
CEOs as well as Law professionals (University Law Professors, Law Researchers and Lawyers)
skilled in Company Laws and/or Defense Laws (National or International). Also welcome are
Specialists in the field of Defense and Security Policies. The Group's objectives are to allow
exchanged knowledge and opinions among the above professionals, in order to enhance
enlightened combined approaches to the framework of defense related issues and
businesses.

Government
1.1 Owner
a) The Owner is entitled to hold the supreme orientation, supervision and representation of
the Group.
b) The Owner is also entitled to enact the Group's Rules, as well as any modifications of
them.
1.2 Board of Management
a) Managers are chosen by the Owner and depend on him as to their overall status.
b) Managers have a duty to ensure the Group's continuous activity.
1.3 Board of Advisors
a) For providing advice on topics, under request of the Group's Owner, a Board of Advisors
may be created.
b) Its creation and composition are entitled to the Group's Owner.
c) Its Members can participate in other activities of the Group.

Activities
2.1 Invitation of New Members
Invitation of new Members aims at reinforcing the Group's visibility, in order to expand the
Group's importance. It is the way for the Group to become most interesting for the very
Group's Members, by being pushed to a higher quantitative level.
a) Go to the Group's homepage.
b) Once on the homepage, click on "Manage" (on the menu that is right above the Group's
banner)
c) Once on the management area, click on "Send Invitations" (one of the options of the
vertical menu on the left)
d) Another page opens, and it's there that you can do the invites for Membership of the
Group (things are explained there).

2.2 Posts
Posting of relevant material aims at pushing and maintaining the Group at a high qualitative
level.
a) News and other Electronic Materials: Books, Newsletters, Articles, etc. The average
procedure for posting news and similes is extremely simple: Look for the LinkedIn icon and
click on it. Then a dialogue box appears (sequence is explained in the box).
b) Questions These are very significant, because they incite directly to brainstorming, via
opinions and thoughts' exchanges.
2.3 Comments and "Likes"
Commenting and "liking" posts aims also at pushing and maintaining the Group at a high
qualitative level, namely by the expression or exchange of ideas, opinions or theories on the
various topics dealt inside the Group.
There are two modalities:
a) Commenting or "liking" own posts.
b) Commenting or "liking" others' posts.
2.4 Announcements
Announcements aim at providing information on issues relevant to the Group, thus
contributing to the informative updating of the Group's Members.
a) There can be announcements about conferences, meetings, publications (books, articles)
or other events, facts or things worth being shared inside the Group.
b) Members can also announce personal initiatives or initiatives from institutions to which
they belong, provided such initiatives are related to the Group's object.
2.5 Other Activities
Without impinging on LinkedIn's own rules, other activities related to the Group require
acquiescence from the Group's Owner.

Working Languages
a) The Group's main working language is English.
b) Contributions in Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish
are also accepted."
