mel commented, Things are

going great so far. The kids
are getting along and working really well together.
They help each other every
day, trying to make each
other better. We have some
first year golfers, so the first
week of practice we went
over the basics and made
sure all of them have a clear
understanding of the rules.
Since it has been nice out,
we have been hitting the
driving range and putting
green, trying to refine our
short game. Then we get out
and play a few holes each
day.
The golfers have been
practicing at the Tarkio Golf
Course, preparing for their
first match of the season,
which is Wednesday, March
25, at Mound City. The
match begins at 4 p.m.
Coach Hummel remarked,
Our goals for this year are
to get better as a team and
build on the co-op. We are
striving to get a couple of
golfers to the State Golf
Tournament, but ultimately
we want the kids to get out
and have fun and enjoy the
great game of golf. Family members and friends, as
well as golf enthusiasts, are
encouraged to come to the
matches and show support
for the Wolves!
