Time and Place:
September 28th, 2013, 8:00 a.m. start, Ralston Park, Warsaw IL. Race day registration and packet & race bib (with timing
chip) pick-up at 7:00-7:45 a.m. Event day registration is welcome. You may also register online at: www.onestoprace.com
Walkers welcome! Strollers and headphones allowed. Please no pets, bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, etc.
Eligibility, Family Discounts, & T-shirt Information:
Free 9 and under participants must be accompanied by an adult. Free registrants are eligible for age group awards, chiptiming, but no free t-shirt. This age group can purchase a t-shirt for $10. Free registrant age group participants must register.
Please note: Children in strollers cannot register as participants. First family member pays full price and each additional
family member living under the same roof enjoy a $5 discount (Exception: No entry fee shall be less than $10, except free
group). All PRE-registered paid participants are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt. Late registrations will receive shirts while
supplies last.

Course Description:
This scenic race starts and finishes at splendid Ralston Park. Youll run past a breathtaking bluff view overlooking the
Mighty Mississippi River along with three States from an area known as The Point. A State Memorial, commemorating the
site of Ft. Edwards, a strategically located US Army post during the War of 1812, marks the location. You will wrap around
this area, passing Ralston Park, and on to our lovely Main Street. Following this, youll come upon the steep descent of
Elevator Hill. The route then turns along the Mississippi River flats. You will pass Warsaw's historic Battery Factory as
you turn to face the race's challenging "Warrior Hill", which is about 2/3 of the way through the race. Enjoy the incredible
view, as the course weaves you through the picturesque, historic town of Warsaw. The route has many historical sites, and
the streets are lined with beautifully restored homes of various architectural styles.
Water Stations, Nutrition, and Medical:
Two water stations will be on the course. Post race nutrition and water will be provided for registered participants. Hancock
County EMS on-site.
Septemberfest:
Bring the family along. Once the run is complete, stay at Ralston Park to enjoy the festivities of Septemberfest! Its a family
friendly day of entertainment, kids games, food, crafts, and other activities celebrating life in a small community. Check out
the Septemberfest Facebook page for more details!
Proceeds will go toward future community improvements.
Waiver & Release of Liability and Media Release Form:
WAIVER: I know that running or walking a road race is a potentially hazardous event, and I should not enter and run or walk unless I am medically able and properly
trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run or walk. I assume all risks associated with running or walking in
this event including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and /or humidity, traffic, and the conditions of the
road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and
anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Warsaw Warrior 5K Committee, the City of Warsaw, Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw Riverfront, or any
other sponsors of this event, their representatives and agents, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability
may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures,
records or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that if the Race cannot be held due to inclement weather, or any act of God or circumstances
beyond control, there will be no refunds. Registration is final, no refunds.
FOR PARTICIPANTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18:
This is to certify that I, as parent/guardian with legal responsibility for this participant, (including a non-participant child in stroller) do consent and agree to his/her release as
provided above of the Releasees, and, for myself, my heirs, assigns, and next of kin, I release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all
liabilities incidental to my minor child's involvement or participation in these programs as provided above, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THEIR NEGLIGENCE.
