This document prescribes the Infrastructure Requirements and the

procedure to be followed for establishing and activating a NATA
Exam Center for the year 2015.

Important Dates

Last Date for receiving application forms for centers Active during NATA 2014: 7th March 2015

Test Center Activation for centers active during NATA 2014: 1 March 2015 25th March 2015

Last Date for receiving application forms for NEW centers: Till 13th April 2015

Test Center Activation for NEW centers who have received permission from CoA: Till 15th April 2015

Test Center Activation Process

All the prospective Test Centers shall follow the procedure given below to activate their Test Centers.
Step 1: Preparation of Requisite Infrastructure
All the Test Centers are required to have following MINIMUM infrastructure ready before they can
apply for activation.

A Computer Lab with minimum 5 Computers running Licensed copy of Windows 7+

Windows OS installed must be free of viruses and malwares. It must be updated with the latest
patches and service packs released by Microsoft.

Browser: Internet Explorer 9+ and Google Chrome Latest Version. (NO TOOLBARS SHALL BE
INSTALLED IN BROWSER)

Adobe Acrobat Reader (Latest Version)

Laser / Inkjet Printer with new Cartridges installed.

TWAIN / WIA compatible scanner supporting 300 dpi resolution

1 Mbps per 5 computers of Internet connectivity. This bandwidth shall be dedicatedly available.
If you have frequent issues with your Internet Connection, we recommend having backup
connectivity available.

Two or more IP Camera with following specification:

Minimum 2 MP resolution IP Camera (3 MP resolution recommended)

H.264 / MJPEG Video compression

1920x1080 25 fps Frame rate

ONVIF 2.0+ compliant

The Camera interface Must work in Google Chrome / Firefox Browser

These cameras must be installed in a manner to cover all the computers, printer and

scanner along with space used for drawing tests and aesthetic sensitivity Test. There should be
no grey areas between the cameras and the entire room has to be visible.

Please prepare your requisite infrastructure. Configure your surveillance camera system as stated
above and test it from outside of your college. If the system is accessible from outside of your college,
then send us a mail to techsupport@nata.in, requesting for the Username/Password to the Test Center
Registration Portal.

Step 2: Filling up Application Form on Test Center Registration Portal

After you receive the Username and Password of the TC Reg Portal, login and fill up the form as per
the instructions given over there.
You will send the Copy of the Application Form duly signed by the Head of the Institution (scanned
as PDF) by email to us.
Please note that the Subject Line of the email MUST BE:

Step 3: Digital Certification of computers

After we receive your email, the application will be verified and if found correct in all respect (including
your surveillance system), you will receive further instructions about digital certification of the
computers.
STEP 3: DIGITAL CERTIFICATION OF COMPUTERS
You will receive a separate guide by email to help you do the digital certification of the computers to
be used for NATA. You will have to follow the process given in the guide and complete the certification
process.
After the digital certification process is completed successfully, your Test Center Coordinators will
receive their Login Credentials for accessing the NATA Server System.
