Imaging
Description: This project was to grow in my
photography skills, and also in my editing skills.
Also using a color scheme and using
it throughout the project.
Programs: Photoshop
Date: February 7, 2015
Course and Instrutor: Comm130, Cory Kerr
Objectives: Learn photo skills, use a color scheme
throughout the project, learn the four basic skills
in Photoshop.
Process: The process behind this project was coming
up with a color scheme. I found the color scheme I
was wanting in these balls, so I used a DSLR camera. I then took the pictures and uploaded them to
photshop and made the four basic edits.

Montage
Description: A spiritual picture that is two pictures
blended together, with some typography.
Programs: Photoshop

Course and Instructor: Comm130 Cory Kerr
Objectives: blend two or more pictures together, apply
typography skills
Process: I found two pictures on the internet and put
them into Photoshop. I first worked on the sunset mountain image, and sized it down to the correct size, and
used that as my background picture. I then painted
away the hard edges. I took my second picture and cut
out what i wanted to display. I blended the two
together. I then added some text.

Event Ad
Description: This is a full bleed color
event ad that was created only using a
scanner, and Word.
Programs: Word

Objectives: Scan images, create a full- bleed
design, have a color scheme, learn
to use Word.
Process: I started off thinking that I would
do a Donate your old Prom dresses fundraisers. Then I started thinking about it, and i
saw this picture in a magazine, and I thought
of a fashion show to help cancer patients. So
i scanned the picture in and from there put
it into Word. I added my text boxes to the
picture and then i changed the color of the
picture to make the gestalt of the ad come
together.

Flier
Description: This flyer is a black and white
promotion advertisement for a conference directed
toward graduating seniors.
Programs: Indesign
Date: January 25, 2015
Course and Instructor: Comm130, Cory Kerr
Objectives: learn to use indesign, create a project
folder.
Process: I started this project by sketching out my
ideas of how I wanted my flyer to look. I then when
to Adobe In-Design and started to layout my
design. I used different shapes to help move your
eye across the page. I tried to make my focal
points as clear as possible by making them big and
stand out. I used the logo and images provided for
me to make the flyer more appealing.

Description: This is a website I created to showcase my logo.
Programs: notepad ++, HTML and CSS
Date: March 14, 2015
Course and Instructor: Comm130, Cory Kerr
Objectives: Learn how to use HTML, and CSS, learn
about hex codes, make a writing about your
project, learn how to put your logo
into a web page.
Process: I created this with notepad ++. which
helped me when I started to code the website,
which i had never done before. I used HTML and
CSS. Using these two to code my website i learned
how to code, i first set everything up with CSS in
regards to font, colors, backgrounds, etc. Then i
went into my HTML file and i typed everything out,
and placed it where i wanted it to go.

Logos
Description: The project was to make 3 different
logos for a company, using only Adobe Illustrator
Programs: Illustrator
Date: February 21, 2015
Course and Instructor: Comm130, Cory Kerr
Objectives: Create three completely seperate
logos for the same company, use only illustrator.
Process: I used the Shape tool and created the
circles and used the color tool to pick different
colors. I then took the circle tool and created
a circle. Then I took the pen tool and made the
wrapper on one side, i then reflected it onto the
other side. I then took the pen tool and made
the cupcake holder, then the arch tool and
created to frosting.

Business Cards
Description: to make a business card out of the
logo I made

Letterhead
Description: This project was to make a letterhead
out of a logo I designed.
Programs: Illustrator, Indesign
Date: February 28, 2015
Course and Instructor: Comm130, Cory Kerr

make an effective letterhead.
Process: I started off working in illustrator and
made my logo. I then copied the design into indesign and made the letterhead.

Brochure
Description: A two sided full bleed brochure.
Programs: Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop
Date: March 28, 2015
Course and Instructor: Comm130, Cory Kerr
Objectives: set up and align a two-sided document,
create a new logo, have at least 250 words.
Process: I started off make the logo in
illustrator, i then copied it over into indesign.
I found some images that i liked that i thought
really reflected the project idea i was going for
in google. I copied them over and then from there
i placed all my elements together and then wrote
out what the brochure was for. I used illustrator,
indesign, and photoshop.
