VALERIE
THOMPSON
PHOTOGRAPHER

I am a photographer and creative

with a keen interest in cultures and
travel. I was born in Dallas, Texas but
grew up in Adelaide, South Australia. I
have participated in various student
exchange programs to India, France
and Canada, and have also worked
with Indigenous Australians in the
Outback of South Australia. After high
school, I returned to the U.S. to
attend university. Over summer 2013,
I took part in a study abroad program
in Indonesia, honing my photography
skills, while immersing myself in the
Balinese culture. I am currently
pursuing my MFA in Photography at
the San Francisco A rt Institute.
