A Prince and a Woodcutter

Once upon a time, there was a prince who loved hunting. Whenever he was
free, he want into the forest to hunt. He was usually (1) accompanied by his
bodyguards and some of his followers. There were still a lot of animals in the forest
at that time. This was because most of the animals knew how to hide whenever
they heard a noise (2) created by hunting team. Most of the would (3) escape into
the deeper parts of the forest.
One day, the prince rode on his horse, holding a bow and arrows ready to (4)
shoot a rabbit. A huge beast suddenly appeared before him, (5) growling fiercely.
The frightened horse reared up. The prince lost his balance and fell down. The

themselves. Nobody ever thought of the prince safety.
As the prince was (7) wondering what to do, a young and strong woodcutter

The beast was so shaken by his unexpected blow that it turned around and ran back

Seorang Pangeran dan Penebang Pohon
Pada suatu hari ada seorang pangeran yang suka berburu. Setiap kali dia
bebas , ia pergi ke hutan untuk berburu.

Dia biasanya ditemani dengan

pengawalnya dan beberapa pengikutnya. Disana masih banyak hewan pada saat
itu. Hal ini karena sebagian besar dari binatang tersebut mengetahui bagaimana
untuk bersembunyi setiap kali mendengar suatu kegaduhan yang berasal dari tim
berburu. Sebagian besar dari mereka akan melarikan diri ke bagian dalam hutan.
Suatu hari, sang pangeran menunggang kudanya, memegang busur dan
anak panah bersiap untuk menembak seekor kelinci. Seekor binatang raksasa tibatiba muncul dihadapannya, menggeram dengan keras. Si kuda lalu ketakutan dan
mendompak. Sang pangeran kehilangan keseimbangan dan terjatuh. Pengikut
pangeran

dan

pengawalnya

sama-sama

ketakutan

dan

berlari

untuk

menyelamatkan diri. Tidak ada yang memikirkan keselamatan sang pangeran.

Sebagai seorang pangeran, dirinya bertanya-tanya apa yang harus dilakukan,
lalu seorang penebang kayu muncul. Dia melihat pangeran sedang dalam bahaya,
sehingga ia cepat mengambil tindakan. Dengan kapak berat yang panjang, ia
angkat dengan tangannya. Si penebang kayu menyerang binatang itu di bagian
dadanya. Binatang itu begitu terguncang oleh pukulan yang tak terduga dan
kemudian langsung berbalik masuk ke dalam hutan.
Sang pangeran sangat berterima kasih kepada si penebang pohon. Untuk
mengungkapkan rasa terima kasihnya, Sang pangeran menghargai si penebang
dengan emas dan perak.
