3 Important Notes
Important Notes
If your PC runs the Windows 7 operating system, select Never notify in the User
Account Control Settings window.
Before using the OMStar V500R010C00, verify that Microsoft Office 2007 has been
installed on the local PC.
Do not open a .doc, .docx, .xls, or .xlsx document when the report is being generated.
Otherwise, the report may not be generated properly.
Do not perform copy and paste operations when the report is being generated. This is to
ensure that the report is generated properly.
All data collected from customers' offices for analysis by the OMStar can be taken out of
the customers' offices only after consent is given by the customers.
OMStar is a Huawei internal tool. Therefore, it should not be released for, introduced to,
and recommended to customers. This document is only for internal use.
Obtain the CHR and PCHR data for analysis with written consent of the customer.
Do not transmit raw network data outside EEA area and to China.
Delete data after using it. Do not keep any permanent file that contains plaintext private
data, such as raw files, reports, and database.
The plaintext private data, such as IMSI, ESN, and IMEI, should be masked in the report
provided for the customer. This type of data should be expressed in such methods as
anonymity, division, and code.
