The contract with the Maryland State Employees Association will enable Maryland State
Employees Association members to order medications by mail, phone, fax or email, and receive
them by mail.
The Maryland State Employees Association trusts HealthWay to provide our community
with timely, efficient prescription-handling and billing systems, said J.D. Smith, director of the
Health Insurance Division of the Maryland State Employees Association. We aim to make
ordering prescriptions as straightforward as possible for our members.
Marsha and Jack Robinson founded HealthWay in 1985. They envisioned a local
drugstore dedicated to serving the community. Thirty years later, we continue to provide friendly
pharmaceutical services throughout our 165 locations. Although HealthWay has become one of
the three largest pharmacy chains in Maryland, we continue to take pride in our accessibility and
family-oriented service.
