You are on page 1of 6

Habit 1 says, Youre in charge. Youre the creator. Being proactive is about choice.

Habit 2 is the first, or mental, creation. Beginning with the End in Mind is about
vision. Habit 3 is the second creation, the physical creation. This habit is where
Habits 1 and 2 come together. It happens day in and day out, moment-by-moment.
It deals with many of the questions addressed in the field of time management. But
thats not all its about. Habit 3 is about life management as wellyour purpose,
values, roles, and priorities. What are first things? First things are those things
you, personally, find of most worth. If you put first things first, you are organizing
and managing time and events according to the personal priorities you established
in Habit 2.Does this sound a bit abstract? Covey makes it more concrete and
actionable in his book, where he tells us: Dont prioritize your schedule; schedule
your priorities.
4 - Think Win-Win
Genuine feelings for mutually beneficial solutions or agreements in your
relationships. Value and respect people by understanding a "win" for all is ultimately
a better long-term resolution than if only one person in the situation had gotten his
way.
5 - Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Use empathic listening to be genuinely influenced by a person, which compels
them to reciprocate the listening and take an open mind to being influenced by you.
This creates an atmosphere of caring, and positive problem solving.
6 - Synergize
Combine the strengths of people through positive teamwork, so as to achieve
goals that no one could have done alone.
Continuous Improvements
The final habit is that of continuous improvement in both the personal and
interpersonal spheres of influence.
7 - Sharpen the Saw
Balance and renew your resources, energy, and health to create a sustainable,
long-term, effective lifestyle. It primarily emphasizes exercise for physical renewal,
prayer (meditation, yoga, etc.) and good reading for mental renewal. It also
mentions service to society for spiritual renewal.

Introduction
On-the-job (OJT) is one of the best training methods because
it is planned, organized, and conducted at the employees
worksite. OJT will be the primary method use for broadening
employee skills and increasing productivity. it is particularly
appropriate for developing proficiency skills unique to an
employees job-especially jobs that are relatively easy to develop,
learn and require locally-owned equipment and facilities. To have
a successful internship program, supervisors need to assign a
coach to each employee involved in OJT/internship. It is the
responsibility of the coach to plan training carefully and conduct it
effectively. And it is also the responsibility of the supervisors and
managers to utilize available resources to train, qualify, and
develop their employees. The OJT Trainee must be able to cope
much with the tasks given to him/her. The OJT coach must in turn
observe the trainee as he/she is working on that given task.

Summary of Tasks and Responsibilities

WEEK 1 (APRIL 13, 2015-APRIL 17, 2015)
For my first week in our internship, at first we are introduced to all the
employees then before they started their work, the manager led the prayer
with all the employees. And then Mrs. Susan Lopez explained to us what
we are going to do. For my tasks the whole week, I was asked to roll paper
for the ATM receipt, arrange cards/files alphabetically, fold and tape
wrappers for the bundles of money, give the clients deposit and withdrawal
slip, put some files into the box according to their dates, check the list of
files in dormant accounts, assist the clients in writing to their deposit slip
and scan some files.
WEEK 2 (APRIL 20, 2015- APRIL 24, 2015)
For this whole week I was asked to fold and tape wrappers for the
bundles of money, count cheques, photocopy and file some papers, fold
the ATM receipt, arrange the customer information form alphabetically,
check the signature cards and customer information form that are in
dormant account and arrange it alphabetically and put a stamp to the files
that are written as dormant.
WEEK 3 ( APRIL 27, 2015-MAY 5, 2015)
The tasks that I did for this whole week were to fold wrappers for the
bundles of money, count cheques, file some paper, roll paper for the ATM

receipt , photocopy some paper , put and arrange supplies in the stock
room, copy the serial number of the US dollars, scan papers, encode some
information, fold ATM receipt, arrange the SSS special bank receipt form
according to their serial number and arrange signature cards alphabetically.
WEEK 4 (MAY 6, 2015-MAY 12, 2015)
The task that I did for this week was just like on what I had done on the
past week of our internship. I scanned some file, then I was asked to put a
stamp to the customer information form and signature cards that are written
as dormant accounts, count cheques, file some paper, check and arrange
files and supplies in the stock room, photocopy some paper , roll paper for
the ATM receipt, arrange the SSS special bank receipt form according to
their serial number and find the accounts that are written as dormant.

For the whole 20 days of our internship, all the tasks that we did were
given by all the employees of Philippine National Bank (PNB), Siniloan
branch. Even though the task that we did was not related to our course we
still accomplished it and gave our best in doing it. We also understand that
we cant interfere on the transactions in the bank because there are some
information that we are not allowed to see. We are still thankful to them
because they had handle and accommodated us well. And just by
observing them I had learn many things. There is also some time that they
had some misunderstanding but they still work professionally and it didnt
affect their work. I learn to them the basic office works, the standard office
rules and regulations and also the pleasant officer-employee relationships.
