We are aware of our customers needs and offer them the services,
products, and solutions that best match their requirements.
The projects in Peru and Brazil presented in this issue are clear
examples of our supply capacity, our wide range of solutions,
customised project planning, and comprehensive technical
support.
As for products, our self-climbing systems are working at full
capacity. Our longstanding experience in the sector is allowing us
to contract a variety of new projects, including some standouts
such as the Q22 Tower in Poland. ATR, HWS, and RKS systems, all
of which are automatic, are demonstrating their speed, efficiency,
and adaptability to any geometry.

Compuesto por 4 ncleos de secciones diferentes, ULMA ha solucionado cada uno de los casos con los mismos sistemas autotrepantes: ATR y RKS.
En los dos primeros ncleos se han empleado plataformas autotrepantes ATR-P dentro de una solucin estndar. Esta solucin
incluye tres plataformas de trabajo, y una estructura portante para
el encofrado modular ORMA.
ATR-P self-climbing systems were used for the first two cores, as
part of a standard solution. This solution includes three working
platforms, and a bearing structure for the ORMA modular
formwork.
Con este sistema autotrepante es posible elevar el conjunto encofrado 50 cm por encima del forjado as como el retranqueo del
muro a la distancia requerida.
In the fourth core, the traditional interior climbing system KSP Shaft
Platforms have been combined with exterior RKS self-climbing
formwork. The gangs are guided on the wall during the lifting
phase making it an easy-to-use, flexible and safe product.
Worker protection from falls and inclement weather is a priority
in such projects. The building perimeter has been covered using 42
HWS protective screens.

Planta 2-8:
Un muro inclinado atravesaba parte del edificio. Para ello se han
empleado consolas BMK con encofrado modular ORMA y tres
niveles de plataformas de trabajo y barandillas perimetrales. Las
vigas se han realizado con ORMA sobre cimbra BRIO a gran altura.
Floor 2-8:
An inclined wall passes through part of the building. BMK
brackets were used with ORMA modular formwork and three
levels of working platforms and perimeter handrails. The beams
were built using ORMA on BRIO shoring at a great height.
Planta 15:
Para el depsito de agua ubicado sobre el cuarto ncleo de la
torre, ULMA propuso una estructura portante especfica. Su misin
era apear la estructura de hormign armado que sirve para el
soporte del tanque. En la solucin se emplearon ocho cerchas MK
de 2,5 m de canto y 8,2 m de largo. La estructura ha quedado
empotrada en los muros mediante unos nudos MK adaptados.
Floor 15:
For a water tank located on the fourth tower cores, ULMA
proposed a specific bearing structure. Its purpose is to shore
the reinforced concrete structure used to support the tank. The
solution employed eight 2.5 m thick MK trusses of 8.2 m in
length. The structure was embedded in the walls using adapted
MK knots.

Built on the banks of the River Xingu, in the northern State of Par,
the project consists of two power generation plants:

COMAIN se han realizado vigas de cuelgue
de secciones considerables. La modularidad y composicin metlica de los paneles
han permitido obtener una estructura
de gran resistencia, fundamental en este
tipo de proyectos.
Toma de agua
Las Cimbras MK han sido el apeo de la losa
de grandes requerimientos, ya que ofrecen
la mejor respuesta ante estructuras con
gran exigencia de carga.
Mechanical Galleries
Using T-60 shoring system and COMAIN
light formwork, considerable sections of drop
beams were formed. The modular, steel panels
enabled a high-strength structure to be
built, essential in this type of project.
Water intake
MK shoring system was used to support
large slabs, as it offers the best response to
heavy load-bearing structures.

Galeras de drenaje
Con ENKOFORM VMK se han encofrado
amplias reas, ya que se trata de un sistema
adaptable a diferentes formas, tamaos y
geometras.
Drainage galleries
ENKOFORM VMK was used to provide
formwork for extensive areas, as the system
can be adapted to different forms, sizes
and geometries.
Toma de agua
La seccin de estas galeras es variable, con
la boca de entrada circular de 9 m de dimetro y la boca de salida cuadrada de 12 m.
La alta capacidad de carga y las mltiples
soluciones del sistema MK se materializaron en un carro MK para tneles de 20 m
de longitud. El desplazamiento por rales
ha agilizado y rentabilizado tanto el tiempo
como el trabajo ya que ha liberado la gra
para realizar otro tipo de trabajos.
Water intake
The water intakes vary in cross-section, with
a 9 m diameter inlet mouth and square 12 m
outlet. The high load-bearing capacity
and multiple solutions provided by the
MK system materialised in a MK form
carrier for 20 m long tunnels. Moving the
carrier on rails made the work faster and
more cost-effective, as it freed up the crane
for other work.

The two lane viaduct will be over 250 m long. Both 34 m high
bridges will be identical in cross-section, 10.3 m wide, vary in depth
between 6-2 m, have straight side walls and a slight curve at one
of their ends. Each bridge deck is supported by two piers with a
maximum span of 125 m.
ULMA has supplied four 10.3 m wide form carriers designed for a
maxim load of 200 tonnes. The systems high performance reduced
construction time.
Cada carro CVS ha partido de una pila del vano, dovela 0, y han
avanzado de forma simultnea en direccin opuesta, en segmentos
de 5 m y ciclos de hormigonado semanales, hasta encontrarse
y ejecutar la dovela de cierre de 2 m.
Each CVS form carrier started from one side of the pier segment
and simultaneously moved forward in segments of 5 m in opposite
direction, with a weekly concrete cycles, until closing of the
bridge in the middle with a final segment of 2 m.
