Besides golf, Jerry enjoyed reading, pheasant
hunting and shooting clays,
playing cards and most of
all, spending time with his
grandsons.
Jerry passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015, at St.
Lukes Hospital, Kansas
City, Missouri, at the age
of 68. Funeral services
were held Friday, June 12,
2015, at the First Christian
Church, Rock Port. Interment followed in Grange
Hall Cemetery, Rock Port.
Jerry was preceded in
death by his father, Oscar L.
Moore, Jr.; father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Donald and
Vera Crabtree; brother-inlaw, Monte Crabtree; sisterin-law, Lois Baker; several
aunts and uncles; and good
friends, especially Larry Abbott. Survivors include his
wife, Amy, Rock Port; children, Todd Moore, Kansas
City, Matt Moore, Maryville,
and Melanie Athen and husband, Dan, Rock Port; grandchildren, Ryan and Brandon
Athen; mother, Margaret
Moore, Rock Port; brothers,
Dick Moore and wife, Kate,
Kansas City, and Wayne
Moore and wife, Maureen,
Rock Port; three brothersin-law, Paul Crabtree, and
wife, Bonnie, Grand Junction, Colorado, Elwin Crabtree, Grand Lake, Colorado,
and Marvin Crabtree and
wife, Lynne, Peoria, Arizona;
sister-in-law, Carol Crabtree, Independence, Missouri; special aunt, Deana
Boettner, Rock Port; and
numerous nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Rock Port Youth
Golf Program or First Christian Church, Rock Port.

Dewayne A.
Schebaum
Dewayne A. Schebaum,
Sr., the son of Harold and
Sylvia
Minerva
(Neff)
Schebaum, was born in
Champion City, Missouri.
He attended school in Champion City.
On December 31, 1961,
Dewayne was united in
marriage to Shirley Johnson in Rock Port, Missouri.
They made their home in
Oakland, Iowa, for 30 years
and became the parents of
four children, Dewayne, Jr.,
Ronald, Donna, and Brian.
In 1995, they moved to Farragut, Iowa, where they
lived to the present time.
Dewayne worked in Oakland, Iowa, as a farmer,
starting in 1962, for Eldred
Pierce, until he went to work
in fabrication as a pipe cutter for Iowa Fittings in Oakland, Iowa, and traveled with
the company throughout the
Midwest, until retiring in
2001. Dewayne passed away
Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at
Jennie Edmundson Hospital, Council Bluffs, Iowa, at
the age of 74.
Besides his parents, Dewayne was preceded in death
by grandson, Ashton; two
brothers, Delmar and Donald Schebaum; and brotherin-law, Gilbert. Survivors
include his wife, Shirley, of
Farragut; children, Dewayne Schebaum, Jr. and wife,
Theresa, Ronald Schebaum
and girlfriend, Nancy, all of
Tarkio, Donna Miller and
husband, Guy, of Farragut,
and Brian Schebaum, and
wife, Mary Jo, of Westboro,
Missouri;
grandchildren,
Derick, Michael, Amanda,
Adam, Amber, Zach, and
Nic;
great-grandchildren,
Colin and Sophia; and siblings, Derrell Schebaum and
wife, Joan, of Shenandoah,
Iowa, Dennis Schebaum and
wife, Betty, of Fairfax, Missouri, Norma Wieskopf, of
Sullivan, Missouri, Wanda
Wilson and husband, Bob,
of Brusly, Louisiana, Betty
Parr and husband, Lyle, of
Little Sioux, Iowa, Elvada
Tyler and friend, Steve, of
Maitland, Missouri, and
Debra Driskell and husband, Robert, of Tarkio.
Dewayne enjoyed yard
work, fishing, and camping
in his spare time. He enjoyed
going to his mother-in-laws
for dinner. Dewayne also enjoyed playing cards and dice
for any occasion.
A graveside memorial service and inurnment will be
held at 2 p.m. Friday, June
19, 2015, at Center Grove
Cemetery, Westboro. There
is no visitation. Memorials
may be directed to the Dewayne Schebaum Memorial
Fund. Online obituaries and

Tarkio.

Carolyn N. Brewer
Carolyn N. Brewer, the
daughter of William Marcus
and Beulah (Hood) Staples,
was born January 23, 1923,
in Burlington Junction, Missouri. She attended school
in Burlington Junction.
On April 18, 1942, Carolyn was united in marriage
to Cecil Loyd Brewer in
Savannah, Missouri. After
living in Kansas City, they
made their home in Westboro, Missouri, and became
the parents of James Loyd,
Anna Marie, Jerome Staples, and Judith Jo.
Carolyn was employed by
Robert Dunham, DVM, as a
veterinarian assistant, doing everything from billing
to pulling calves and assisting with surgery. She also
worked as a nurses aide at
Community-Hospital, Fairfax, Missouri, and operated
the Westboro Telephone office. Loyd passed away in
1986. Carolyn moved to Farragut in 2009 to be closer to
her family, where she lived
to the present time.
Carolyn was a former
member of the Center Grove
Cemetery Board, assisted
with Westboro elections,
