• With a great sales team we lead the San Diego location to beat its best in all
time comp sales. Along with the challenge of the store being one of the
oldest location and the third largest in gross sales in the entire chain.

INOVATIONS

• Created and implemented a chain wide store program that made it extremely
easy to find gear in the warehouse for sales floor merchandising.
• Set the standard, early on, in the company for a lot of the merchandising
concepts used today.

45+ diversified employees in music retail.
• Trained and promoted many department, assistant, sales and store
managers within my 10 year tenure as a store manager.

SALES / MARKETING

• Overseeing and executing all major advertising promotions including

monthly, weekend and special event promotions.
• Planning and executing preparation for major in store vendor/artists clinics
including Terri Bozzio (drummer for Frank Zappa) and Eddie Kramer
(producer for Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin).
• Ensuring call campaigns are made to all existing clients informing them know
about our special deals and events.
• My sales team and I worked closely with the Bose representatives to get the
San Marcos location to be #1 in sales with the Bose exclusive L1 and L2 live
systems in the region.

• Held a key role as a manager to move the Sherman Oaks and San Diego
store locations. The second and third biggest sales stores in the chain.
• Assisted in the grand openings and re-openings of the Brea CA, San Marcos
CA, Sherman Oaks CA, Rancho Cucamonga CA, Las Vegas NV and San Diego
CA locations.
