MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 08-2014

AN ORDINANCE UPDATING THE LOADING/UNLOADING ZONE OR PARADA OF TRICYCLE FOR
HIRE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GUINOBATAN, AMENDING FOR THIS PURPOSE SECTION 11 OF
MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 02 SERIES OF 1999, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE GUINOBATAN
TRICYCLE CODE OF 1999.

WHEREAS, the Task Force Kaayusan has noted that some of the places where the
paradas for tricycles for hire are actually located do not jibe with the actual location specified
under Section 11 of the Guinobatan Tricycle Code of 1999, thus, causes confusion among
various users of the code such as the Tricycle Drivers, Public Officers and Law Enforcers:
WHEREAS, to eliminate confusion, the parada whose location is not consistent with the
code must be relocated and the designated place of the parada inscribed under this ordinance
must tally with their actual place in the field;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises:
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in session assembled,
that:
Section 1. Amendatory Provision. Section 11 of Municipal Ordinance No. 02, Series of
1999, as amended, otherwise known as the Guinobatan Tricycle Code of 1999 is hereby further
amended to read as follows:

Section 2. Cancellation of Parada 4 & 7. Paradas 4 and 7 are hereby cancelled and its
covered routes are just merged to existing and remaining paradas due to dismal number of
tricycle operators for the said two (2) zones.
Section 3. Repealing Clause. All ordinances inconsistent with the substantial provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
Section 4. Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
