Open the Hyperion Client application and click on FILE / NEW / REPORT

This opens the “Report Layout Window”

Click on “Insert Grid” icon in the “menu bar”. Place the cursor in the centre of the report layout window and extent
the size. This will open the “Select a Database Connection” window.
Check correctness of Database Connection (correct if necessary by clicking on the button) and click on OK

This will open the “Dimension Layout” window.

The report is build with 1 Grid, containing

Columns : Year, Scenario, Product and Account

Rows : Organisation

Drag the required “dimensions” from the “Point of View” section into the “Columns”, “Row” or ”Pages” section (click on
the icon in front of the dimension and drag them downwards)

-) FORMAT / CELLS / FONT

Highlight Grid1 (by clicking on the left top corner cell) and select FORMAT / CELLS in
the “menu bar”

Click on the FONT tab and select Arial / Regular / Size ( 7 ) and click on APPLY

-) FORMAT / CELLS / NUMBERS

Select the NUMBER tab and set NEGATIVE NUMBER SYMBOLS with Prefix “(“ and Suffix “)” and mark DISPLAY IN
RED
Click on APPLY and OK

Note: since this will be the default layout settings, all other Number or Font settings must be done individually by Cell,
Row or Column.

-) FILE / PAGE SETUP / PAGE

Click on FILE (in the “menu bar”) / PAGE SETUP to open the “Page Setup” window

Mark LANDSCAPE and “FIT WIDTH TO PAGE”. Make sure the “Paper Size” is set on “Letter”.

Go to the MARGINS tab and overwrite settings as shown below

Click OK
