Theme : Social issues ( Pollution)

Zhuo Wei : Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Let's give a warm welcome to Professor kang who
specializes in social research. he will help to take cognizance of contemporary social issues.

Chun Wei: Thank you. Today I am going to discuss on the topic "Pollution".
"Pollution" is an issue of concern in the modern world we live today. There is a variety of
pollution, namely air, water and noise.

Zhuo Wei : How does pollution affect our quality of life? Does pollution prompt any side effects on our
health ?

Chun Wei : Pollution does affect our life in many ways. Preliminary studies has proclaimed that our life
expectancy decreases in tandem with the alarming rate of increasing pollution. Our naturally
beautiful world is becoming displeasing to inhabit as we are not cognized of the importance in
keeping our world a pollution free place.

Zhuo Wei : I have to concede that this problem has never arised in my perception before. Notwithstanding, I
would like to initiate a chance to redeem my omission of being oblivious to issue. Can you
acquaint me on ways to overcome pollution?

Chun Wei: Sure. I would love to . First, be less reliant on your car. The emissions from burning fuel is a
huge contribution of air pollution. Open burning too will abet in polluting the environment.
Therefore, never attempt disposal of trash through open burning under any circumstances.

Zhuo Wei: I have heard of the news about water and noise pollution. They are the main factors of
disturbance in aquatic and human life. water pollution is mainly caused by delinquent
manufacturers. We should really endeavour in overcoming this problem. If not, marine lives will
not be able to exist under the malignant effects of water pollution.

Chun Wei : Noise pollution is easily overcomed y reducing the noise we make . Chinese New Year is

coming soon. We have to be always remain vigilant that there are others around us and we
should not be inward - looking. Always keep in mind that other people have their own lives to
tend to and we, as considerate and civilized citizens should not cause unwanted nuisance to
others.

Zhuo Wei : Pollution, if not tended to with care, will cause a huge impact on our daily lives. Who else is to e
blamed but the sinners ourselves.

Chun Wei: That's right, always try not to err as the aftermath will never be pleasant. Pollution is an act of
self destruction and we should inhibit the process of pollution.
