Engineering Ltd) a consultancy working on a mechanical construction project for
Tunisia.

Immingham.
Responsible for all the Sub Contractors to ensure all their QA/QC documents are
compiled / Completion Data books for presentation by BVL to the Client.
Compiling all the data into systems for testing and commissioning.
Feb 2004 to March 2006. Vendor Inspection Coordinator for GLO (Germanischer Lloyd Offshore)
Coordinator in Japan for Qatar Gas project Dolphin Energy. Vendor Packages Fabrication at Vendors
Yards. Monitored reported on PC activities and sub-contractors. Reporting progress to Client PM.
• Attended kick off / Pre-Fabrication meetings, discussed QP’s, ITP’s, Project Schedules.
• Liased with the EPC Contractor’s Project QC Engineer/Manager with respect to Purchase Order
(P.O.) Inspection activities, comments made and actions taken.
• Ensured the clients, project and international specification codes of practice were followed
• Reported to Project Director on the progress, slippage, and measures to ensure recovery.

Brescia - Manfalcone. Japan Niigata Masoneilan – Korea CCI – India Chennai Audco Vales
• Monitoring and reporting to the client on the procurement of
materials and the manufacturing of valve sizes 1.5 to 56 inch on /
offshore valves types inclusive of: -
• Flow Control, Pnuematic – Hydraulic Actuators, Forged NPS
threaded, Butterfly Valves, On / Off Ball, MOV’s, Globe, Angle, Wafer.
Forged Body, Pressing sleaves, Turning Shafts, Forging Machining Balls,
Moulded gates, Seats forged & milled, electro-plated nickel coating,
metal backed self lubricating and PTFE coating.
• Also to NACE MRØ175, Fire safe to API 6FA,
• Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Hydro-testing, Gas testing, Limit Switch
settings, bleed and leak testing.
• Verification of items, Bonnet, Body, Seat Rings, Stems, Cage, Studs,
Packers, Actuators, Regulators, Bushings and Gaskets. Spare parts as
per PO requirement.
Reviewed: -
• EPC P.O. inspection and test plans (ITP’s) to determine if the inspection activities were
• Level of Surveillance planned by the Third Party were appropriate, modifications instigated.
• Inspection classification ratings (ITP – QP) of materials, equipment to quantify appropriate
values.
• TPS reports and acted on quality requirements modifications where considered appropriate.
• P.O. closure including data book (MRB) compilation and punch list close-out.
• EPC contractors Management system compilation and document issue status.
• Document issue against the Project deliverables.
• EPC Audit Schedule improvement made at the appropriate Points.
• Communicated Quality issues to the Local PMT Project Manager and Core Team.
• Audit and assessed Vendors and Sub Suppliers, received / modified Audit Schedules.
• Searched and Coordinated attendance of the Inspectors / Engineers at the vendors fabrications
and ensured the fabrications met the project KPI’s and milestones and Quality requirements.
• Coordinated by reviewing / monitoring during the Procurement, Fabrication, Logistics, Expediting
on a worldwide bases for USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway,
Denmark, Turkey, UAE, KSA, India, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan.
• Troubleshooting visits to Vendors – sub-vendors - suppliers / Manufacturers when deemed
necessary. Schedule verification to the agreed KPI’s. Catch up actions suggested for slippages.
• Materials management and planning / sub-vendor management / shop scheduling / resource
loading / manufacturing / quality plans and programs showing client intervention points / production
planning evaluation / progress monitoring / schedule recovery prospective plans and trouble shooting,
costs, payments, change orders.
• Locations were covered with an Inspector hired through myself, rates discussed and agreed and
duly sent all the information required through web mail.
• Receipt and review of Invoices, Inspection reports, NCR’s, IRC.
• Full records and database kept for all received documentation.
• Review of Reports, Release Certificates processed any objections returned to contacts for
modification.
• All reports, invoices were checked against the Inspection Notices, time sheets, agreed rates and
hours then approved for payment.
• Vendor Inspection Coordination Procurement for the Ruwais Expansion Jetty Offshore Project.
• International Fabrication Project communication by Phone / Fax throughout the globe.
• Vendors from Japan-Europe-Australia-USA.
• Coordination of 40 Vendors and 200 sub Vendors / Suppliers plus hands on Inspection with
visits to Valve Vendors in Italy, Spain, Korea and fabrications in Netherlands, Belgium.
