MERRITT ESTATE WINERY

Save Water, Drink Merritt Wine.

The winery currently makes more than 27

award-winning wines. One of its signature
wines is Bella Rosa, made from 100%
Concord grapes. Another is their New York
Table Riesling. The winery has won multiple
gold medals from the New York Finger Lakes
International Wine Competition to the San
Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition in
California.

One of the wineries which will be showcased

at this years festival is Merritt Estate Winery.
Located near the Lake Erie wine region it
was one of the first farm wineries started
in Chautauqua County. However, the estate
and its original homestead, has been in the
family dating back to the late 1800s. In 1976
William T. Merritt turned the estate into a fullfunctioning winery. In 1998 Jason C. Merritt
joined his father and together they devote all
of their time and energy to their small winery,
producing award-winning wines.

Just this past February, Merritts celebrated

their Grand Re-Opening of their Tasting
Room. The new tasting room is comfortable
and welcoming to visitors, giving them more
room to shop and to enjoy free year-round
wine tastings. Visitors are also encouraged to
tour the facilities and surrounding vineyards.

Merritt Estate is located in the largest grape

growing region east of the Rockies and the
largest Concord grape growing region in the
world. The grapes and wines produced in this
area rival the quality of premium vintages
found throughout the world.

HAZLITTS ORCHARD & CIDER CRAFTERS

Picked for perfection!

Hard cider has become one of the most

popular options for many beer and wine
enthusiasts across the country. New York
State has a vast variety of apples that can
be used to create a wonderful and indulgent
selection of hard ciders. The tasting notes of
these ciders are a medium-dry finish with a
vast amount of apple flavor.

Cider Tree hard apple cider can be enjoyed

on a long hot summer night or mulled with
cinnamon and other spices on a crisp autumn
evening. The cider is nicely paired with creamy
pasta dishes, baked ham served cold, roasted
pork and of course, apple pie.
In the heart of the small town of Naples,
Hazlitts Orchard & Cider Crafters strive to
remain true to their motto Honest to
the Core the entire process, from cider
production to packaging, is done right here
in New York State. Its your apple, go ahead
and pick it!

This year at the festival, one of New Yorks

finest wineries, Hazlitt, will be showcasing
its award-winning cider a semi-dry, ultrapremium, sparkling hard cider made from
fresh pressed apples and champagne yeast.

THREE HEADS BREWING

The start of Three Heads Brewing story involves many memories
which include drinking beer, listening to music, playing sports
and loud games of foosball in a basement in Brighton in the 2000s.

The story begins when friends Dan Nothnagle,

Todd Dirrigl, Brian Johnson and Geoff Dale
shared memories while drinking different
beers Nothnagle collected from the west
coast. The four friends wanted to bring the
flavors of the west coast to the east coast, so
they decided to learn how to brew their own
beer in Dirrigls basement and kitchen.

now known for their unique custom brews

with intriguing names like Rochestafarian
Wee Heavy Ale and Skunk Black India Pale
Ale. They invite customers to try something
unique and to taste why each ale is given its
name.

They were driven to create a solid brew and

after deciding to enter some of their home
brews in a local competition, they knew they
were on to something special when they took
four medals three of them gold.

The multi-layered notes of the Rochestafarian

Wee Heavy Ale is based on the varied music
life of Rochester. The Skunk Black India Pale
Ale, which is labeled Who knew a skunk
could smell so good? Get Skunked, has a big
hops flavor with a nice balanced aroma that
even Pepe Le Pew would love.

The friends decided to partner with CB Craft

Brewers in Honeoye Falls to take their beer
to the next level. Three Heads Brewing is

FLAVOR ON WHEELS FOOD TRUCK RODEO

This year at the festival,
we are not just celebrating
wine and craft beers and
ciders, but the incredible
flavors of food. Food trucks
have become a trend for
foodies of all ages and
feature something for
everyones flavor palate. At
this years festival, a mini
food truck rodeo will be
held showcasing the variety of flavors food
trucks offer.

to cook like his grandfather made him decide

to purchase a truck in 2013 and share his love
of food. His signature dish is a Meatball Truck
Plate a foodie take on a Garbage Plate.

The New York Wine and Culinary Center, has

branched out to create a menu of farm fresh,
finger food for the rodeo. Their menu isnt just
every day sandwiches, but sandwiches that
grab your taste buds from first bite to last.

But, dont forget dessert. Your experience at

this years festival wouldnt be complete if
you dont stop by the SK Shavery to satisfy
your sweet tooth. The truck, where shaved
snow cone meets ice cream, is an incredible
marriage of flavors. The fresh, all natural
ingredients are handcrafted to deliciousness.

The Meatball Truck Company is a family-run

truck created by the owners of Antonettas, a
popular Italian restaurant in Rochester. Head
chef, Matthew Petrillo features meatballs
that are an out-of-the-box idea. From pot
roast meatballs to those with an Asian flair,
the meatballs are made fresh to perfection
and paired with truffle fries. Petrillos passion

With a wide variety of flavors featured, you are

sure to find something that will entice your
taste buds or open your eyes to something
new and exciting!
