Reection & Weekly Readings

News and Events

In what concrete ways are you living your faith

through service to others?

UCC 50th anniversary gala! September 17

The evening will begin with a short celebration Mass. This will be
followed by a cocktail hour at the UCC, then dinner and a special
reception next door at the AT&T Center. Former Austin news
anchor Judy Maggio will be our evenings MC as we honor Alan
Graham of Mobile Loaves and Fishes and Msgr. Louis Pavlicek with
the Fr. Dave OBrien Award.
We are currently selling dinner tables and raffle tickets.
Tables are available at four sponsorship levels, ranging from $1,500
to $10,000. More information about tables sponsorships can be
found on our website at utcatholic.org/50years. Raffle tickets are
$10 each. So far the raffles prizes include a UT Football Tailgate
Package, three opportunities to win a personalized and signed
copy of Admiral Bill McRavens biography, and a life-sized image
of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
The raffle drawing will take place the evening of the celebration
during dinner, but you need not be present to win.
All monies raised from the evening will help the UCC fund an
additional campus minister who will focus exclusively on spiritual
direction and vocations discernment. In order to expand our staff
and programming our fundraising goal for this event is
$50,000 in celebration of 50 years. We are excited to continue
the growth of our ministry and to foster more religious and lay
ministry vocations to the Church!

Jesus invites us to believe in Him as the Bread of Life. May our

understanding of the sacrament of Eucharist deepen each time we
come to Mass.
