The article is all about compliance and good governance in an organization. Good
Governance is vital to Any organization; It helps to mitigate disaster before they occur
and it increase the accountability of the company. When it is executed effectively, it
lessen the likelihood of fraud and scandals. With a good corporate governance
companies would be able to achieve a good reputation; Therefore earning the trust of
customers resulting to more profit.
Policies often have advantages and disadvantages, and it was well discussed in
the article. For example, it tackles how the compliance officers reports to the ceo. The
advantage of this is it provides a direct communication about the issues and problems
within the firm. The disadvantage is that the CEO may be able to filter information
regarding breaches of ethics and violations. Corporate Governance varies from one to
another, so telling which form is the most effective impossible until Further research.

The article does contain a scientific merit, it went through process which requires to be
performed with due care and possess the trait of completeness. The study discussed
the advantages and disadvantages of the reporting structure of an entity. With a good
governance, Companies could reduce risks and help them be more efficient and
effective in their respective jobs. For them to write this kind of study, they should have a
background on the subject matter. The authors of the article must have observed how
different organizations practice good governance. With just observing the
surroundings, you can get much information about an organization. You could be able
to understand the environment, norms, practice and culture of an entity. After
observation, have a look at the gray areas which need an overhaul or improvement.
So with this study, we could find ways on how to improve the governance of the top
management.

The paper was well written, it was clear, concise and on point. the authors only
added information which were relevant to the article. even though it was not a lengthy
article, it gives a good content about compliance and good governance. there are
some terminologies in the article which requires a comprehensive understanding. so if
the reader does not have any background about businesses, it will be difficult to for
them to follow.

The problem with the article is that there were terminologies which were too technical.
I know this article does not target a person which does not have a background on
businesses; But even some person which have a background in business would have
trouble understanding some terms. Also, It lacks some information that is needed to
supplement the conclusion. The study still has a long way to go. The subject matter
needs to be studied further so it could help other organizations.
