Purple Cows Hot Pockets #’s 4050 (12’’X 12’’) #4040
kit and then cut strips of the other patterned papers in the kit
(8.5’’X 11’’)
into ‘waves’ using the assortment of decorative click blades as

above in the freestyle mouse. Build up the strips onto the

and Bling 2. Cut ‘seaweed’ from some of the Cosmo Cricket paper with
Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro w/ Permanent Adhesive scissors and cut some of the shapes from the coupons
(the whale, the fish etc) in the crafting kit and arrange all the

permanent pens and paper clips.

getting to temperature place the 12’’ X 12’’ sea background into a # 4050
12’’X 12’’ Hot pocket and the fish into a # 4040 8.5’’ X 11’’ Hot pocket.
5. Once the laminator is up to temperature laminate your pieces then
switch off the machine.
6. Cut out the laminated fish with scissors.
7. Add a small dot of silicon glue to the centre of each laminated fish and
stand a jump ring up on its side into the glue, leave aside to set.
8. Take the brush top off of an old paint brush (or you could also use a
kebab skewer, an old pencil or a piece of thin dowelling) to make the
fishing rod.
9. Unfold a paper clip, cut it in half and curl the end round into a loop to tie
the string onto. This will make the fishing hook.
10. Tie some string into the loop of the paper clip then add 3 dots of silicon
along the ‘rod’ to stick the string to. Add a sewing machine bobbing at
the end with silicon glue and loop some of the string round it to look like
a fishing reel. Stick the end of the string on the bobbin with some more
silicon
11. Once all the silicon is firmly set on all your pieces the game is ready to
play! Of course you will make as many rods as you need for players taking
part and it is always worth making more fish than you need so there is a
good mix of points available without people remembering the fishes
points value!
12. To play the game select the amount of fish you will need, maybe 12 for
two players, 18 for three and so on, take it in turns to catch fish then add
up the scores on the bottom of the fish to find the winner! For added
mayhem why not all fish at the same time!
13. I hope you have lots of fun creating this easy, fun family game using your
Purple Cows tools and have even more fun playing it! Oh and don’t forget to
Purple Cows, Inc share your results with us over at the pasture!
