1.

The Qualifications and Pay-Scales for the posts of Asistant. Prof., Librarian and Director of Physical
Education are as per rules prescribed by UGC, Govt. of Maharashtra and the Shivaji University, from
time to time.
2. NET/SET is compulsory required qualification. Provided however, that candidates, those who have
completed M.Phil degree up to 31.12.1993 or have been Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the
University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree)
Regulation 2009, Shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of
NET/SLET/SET for requirement and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent position in
University/College/Institution as per UGC Public notification F.9-3/2010(PS) Dt-12 th October 2012 . If
NET or SET qualified candidates are not available at the time of interview, non NET/SET candidates
will be considered as per Resolution No. Sankirna 2012/(237/12) vishi-1 Dated 17/09/2013
3. Relaxation of 5% provided from 55% to 50% at the P.G. Degree level to SC/ST categories & disabled
person.
4. The posts reserved for SC/ST/DT-NT/OBC/SBC will be filled in by the candidates (Domicile of
State of Maharashtra)belonging to that particular category only. If the candidates belonging to
particular category are not available, candidates belonging to other category will be considered. Only
for Temporary Local appointments i.e. Six months or up to the Selection Committee, whichever is
earlier.
5. Candidates will have to attend the interview along with their applications on plain paper addressed
to Secretary , Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha , Kolhapur with full details such as
full name, address, caste, date of birth, educational qualifications etc.
6. Application must be enclosed with the two certified Xerox sets of the original documents pertaining
to educational qualification, date of birth, caste and the caste validity certificate.
7. Candidates must have to produce all original documents at the time of interview.
8. Candidates must attend the interview at office of Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha,
2130, E, Tarabai Park , Kolhapur on the following dates and time.
Subjects - Sr. No.1 to 05 on Date - 13.07.2015 at 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 pm
Subjects - Sr.No.06 to 12 on Date - 14.07.2015 at 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 pm
Subjects - Sr.No.13 to 23 on Date - 15.07.2015 at 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 pm
Candidates have to attend the interview at their own expenses.
9. The above number of vacancies will be filled in on Clock Hour Basis (CHB) only as per Circular
from Director of Higher Education Maharashtra State, Pune. (Circular Letter No. NGC/2001/NET
SET/31300/PR Mavi -1 dt.26/11/2001) subject to approval of the Government/University.
10. This appointments are purely temporary As soon as the regular appointments are made through
University selection committee are by university approval, these appointments shall be cancelled with
immediate effect.
