FirstMetroSecs Website Feature: Request for Withdrawal of Funds

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the Withdrawal Feature of the FirstMetroSec website?
Request for Withdrawal of Funds is originally a request processed by the Customer Service
through a written request form. Starting August 2014, you may now request to withdraw your
funds through the website. Upon request, these funds are withdrawn from the FirstMetroSec
account and credited to your designated bank account.
How can I access this?
a. Option 1
Log-in to your FirstMetroSec account
Go to Main Page Withdrawal

b. Option 2
Go to My Profile Account Info Withdrawal

How does this affect my FirstMetroSec account?

With this feature, new accounts will no longer have the Auto-Payout Option, or the option for
FirstMetroSec to payout any proceeds from your transactions to your Registered Settlement
Account. Also, effective November 2014, clients on the Auto-Payout Option will be converted to
Money-Stays that will retain any transaction proceeds in your Stock Trading Account.

2. How are Withdrawable Funds computed?

Withdrawable funds equal all the Cleared Funds from your FirstMetroSec account.
Cleared Funds = cleared cash balances + cash cleared from selling your securities on the
Settlement Date
Settlement Date of proceeds from shares sold = Transaction Day + 3 Trading Days
Scenario:
August 4, 2014, Monday
Cash = P10,000
Security Sold = 500 Shares FMETF at P110 = P54.565.50 (net)
Withdrawable Funds = 10,000
August 7, 2014, Thursday (T+3)
Withdrawable Funds = 10,000 + 54,565.50 = 64,565.50
Note: Pledged amount is not included in the withdrawable funds.

How much am I allowed to withdraw?

You can withdraw an amount less than or equal to the Withdrawable Funds, indicated on the top
part of the Withdrawal page.
3. Where will the funds be credited?
a. Option 1
You can choose to deposit the requested funds in your Registered Settlement Account. This
is the bank account you provided to FirstMetroSec upon your application.
b. Option 2
Another option is to place the funds in another bank account by indicating the bank, branch
and account number. Please take note that the account must have the same account name
as your FirstMetroSec account for the payment to be accepted.

4. When will the withdrawn funds be credited to my bank account?

Cut-off time of requests for withdrawal of fund is 4:00 p.m. Requests submitted after 4:00 p.m. will
be processed and credited on the following day.
For non-Metrobank accounts, checks will be deposited within 2 days.
5. Can I cancel my request?

please call Customer Service to inquire about the current status and ask if the cancellation of
