Reporting theft of the device
In order to report a device as stolen, you must have the information on this certificate, proof of
purchase (e.g. sale receipt), and the information from your police report. The police report
must include the details of the event (where, when and how it happened) and information on
the law enforcement agency involved (name of the agency, name of officer, file number).
For more information on how to report a theft of your device, or to report the theft online,
please visit https://my.absolute.com. If you do not have access to the Internet, you may report
the event by phone or fax at 1-604-676-3644.

information includes help on installing and troubleshooting the software.
Re-installing on a replacement or re-imaged device
To install on a replacement device:
In order to reinstall the software, you are NOT required to purchase the service again, Instead:
1. From your new device, log into the Absolute Software Corporation Customer Center web
site using your existing e-mail and password at
https://my.absolute.com
2. Click on the 'Remove' button from the 'My Subscriptions' tab. You will receive a message to
flag the agent for removal. Click on 'Flag for Removal'. (If you have multiple licenses associated
to your e-mail address, click the '+' next to the registration code to expand the details of the
device you wish to flag for removal and then click the 'Remove' button)
3. The details of the registration code will show 'The agent has been flagged for removal'.
4. Now click the 'Install' button, to install the software on your new device.

5. You will be directed to the download page.
6. Click on Download for either Windows or Mac and follow the steps that appear on the screen.
7. Once the installation is complete, a new Window will appear with confirmation of a successful
installation and Recommended Next Steps.
