Charity Navigator, one of the preeminent charity bench marking, vetting and evaluating websites, awarded
Montgomery County United Way their top rating for charities of four stars.
The report noted reporting only one other United Way who rated higher than us in transparency,
accountability, and financial measures!
Recognition from Charity Navigator is not received through an application process; the organizations select and
rate other organizations as they see fit.
Montgomery County United Way is the only charity in Montgomery County with a 4 star rating!

Montgomery County United Way believes an important step in making a difference is to

volunteer. Volunteers have a huge impact on the health and well-being of Montgomery County
residents.
Volunteers can now set up a profile page, showcasing their areas of interest, groups they've joined and
their favorite agencies. Volunteers can also track their hours and be a part of a group of volunteers
available during disasters. Agencies also have their own profile page, allowing them to feature their
mission, recruit volunteers and share their donation needs.
The new site also allows for agencies to upload photos and a video along with creating and managing
events. The new website has a clean, simple design, with a robust platform that connects volunteers and
agencies in Montgomery County.

Social Security cards for you, your spouse and dependents or a Social Security
number verification letter issued by the Social Security Administration

An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) assignment letter may be

substituted for you, your spouse and your dependents if you do not have a
Social Security number

Proof of foreign status, if applying for an ITIN

Birth dates for you, your spouse and dependents on the tax return

Wage and earning statements (Form W-2, W-2G, 1099-R,1099-Misc) from all
employers

Interest and dividend statements from banks (Forms 1099)

A copy of last years federal and state returns, if available

Proof of bank account routing and account numbers for direct deposit such as a
blank check
