Dedicated to large sized drinking water treatment plants

T3 implementation is an efficient flexible and modular solution dedicated to large
cities (from 50 000 m3 to 200 000 m3 of water to treat). It combines several
Premium TSX57 controllers, a Scada VijeoCitect with distributed clients and
a remote connection to control remote pumping or booster stations.
Each controller manages one functional unit of the drinking water process
(all aeration tanks, all sedimentation tanks, or all filters). It controls the different
functional units needed within this drinking treatment function. The modularity of
the solution easily enables to extend the process in order to treat larger volume
of water. This implementation is a real solution ensuring performance,
modularity, ease of diagnostic and maintenance thanks to Transparent Ready
capabilities. It guarantees a high level of availability with hot standby controllers.
The Unity Pro configuration software and Unity Application Generator with its
water object library configuration tools combine simplicity with all features
required for performance and productivity.

By integrating Ethernet TCP/IP

and Web technologies into its
products, Schneider Electric
solutions provide optimum
performance and ease of use
in water applications thanks
to Transparent Ready.
From your companys management
systems, right through to field
devices, Transparent Ready
provides communication services
for every level of your water
application architecture.
Transparent Ready catalog
comprises a comprehensive range of products: Scada, controllers,
distributed I/O, switches, cables Factory Cast and Factory cast HMI
Web server offers allow developing a Water monitoring application
in your controller. Using any Web browser you can monitor easily
your water application.
ConneXview is a powerful and easy to use diagnostic software tool
that makes it simple to:
Automatically discovers networks and devices
Provides a visual map of the network topology and connected
devices
Allows you to monitor the health of your network
Helps you to diagnose and resolve network issues

Access control
Option: Premium or Quantum Hot Standby
for process availability

Cost

A competitive ratio performance/cost

Low engineering cost

Size
Installation of several hundred square meters
Link of several kilometers with other sites:
other drinking water plants,
remote pumping, tanks or boosters stations

The complexity
of automation architecture for a drinking
water plant requires
a high level of
diagnostic solution.
ConneXview is a
powerful and userfriendly diagnostic
software tool, for
industrial Ethernet
networks.

A T3 drinking water plant combines several functional units for all water
pumping (1) screening (3), flocculation, sedimentation (4), filtering (5),
ozone treatment (6), activated carbon filtration (7), or disinfecting (8),
distribution (9) or sludges treatment (10). Each functional unit is
composed of multiple equipment and is managed by separated PLC.
ConneXview tool allows monitoring the entire Ethernet network
that connects all the previous components of the water automation
architecture.

It enables downtime to be reduced and therefore increases productivity

of a T3 water plant. It minimizes network-related disruptions to production
and it reduces maintenance costs.
