ready stock for Rs 78000 and charges sales tax at the rate of 7.5%. Find the VAT paid by the

(c) Simple interest on the certain sum of money for 4 years p.a exceeds the C.I on the same sum
for 3 years at 5% p.a by Rs 228. Find the sum. [4]
