SANSHODHAN) ACT, 2001

IT is hereby enacted in the frfky second year of the Republic of India as

follows :1. (1) t h i s Act may be called the Ultar Pradesh Municipalities Act (Dwitiya
Uttaranchal Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam. 2091.
(2) It extents lo the whole of Urtaranchal.
(3) It shall come into force on June 1 I, 2001.
2. After clause {c)of Section 10-AA of the Uttar'Pradesh Municipalities Act I916
the Second Proviso of the said Seclion shall be substituted as under, namely:-

'Provided further that the Administrator appointed under this section shall have

a term till March 31, 2002 or till the new Municipal CouncillNagar Panchayat is
conslituted, whichever is earlier.'
