The new versatile LM30 drills

have been developed for

ease of use in tight situations
and locations where mobility
and quick set up time are
important.
The LM30 is available in 2 models, a
Skid Steer Mobile Rig and a Modular Rig.
Both models are designed to use LTK 48
or LTK 60 coring systems.

Skid Steer Drill Rig

A compact, mobile unit that ensures
quick set up time and ease of moving
from site to site.
A Skid Steer prime mover is used as
the carrier to transport the feed frame
and water pump. The Skid Steer carrier
is powered by a 45kW 4 cylinder diesel
engine which also provides the hydraulic
power to run the rotation unit, direct
coupled feed frame, integral water pump
and feed tilt.

Using a lightweight, polyethylene

enclosure, the control panel assembly
is mounted on an adjustable swing arm.
The flexible positioning of the controls
allows easy, single person operation.

Modular Drill Rig

The control panel uses a lightweight

polyethylene enclosure

Size and weight were the prime

concerns when developing this small,
lightweight metalliferous drill rig.

Durable Feed Frame

The 30kW power pack has an integrated

starter and electric motor allowing it to
measure a compact 1400 long x 875
high x 600 wide. It is also capable of
running the hydraulic water pump. The
PLC control system, which includes
EPROM protection, reduces the weight
of the power pack while increasing the
reliability of the hydraulic logic.

The new 300 Series direct drive feed

frame is based on the durable 700
feed frame. Fitted with regenerative
circuit, the rod handling speed is similar
to chain drive but with significantly
reduced maintenance requirements.
