Pesach-Passover

and when do we celebrate it

There are many groups that have their special ways of delivering the
beginning of the Spring Feasts, and how and when to celebrate the
Passover. Which way is best? How can we tell the beginning? What is
the indicator of when to begin? This is my take!

The beginning of the Pesach-Passover and Feast of Unleavened bread

began for the first time when Abba YHVH instructed the Israelites at
the beginning of Exodus. “This month is the beginning of months for you,
it is the first month of the year for you,” Shemot-Exodus 12. No more
earthly calendars.

Verses 24-27, “And you shall guard this word as a law for you and your
sons forever. And it shall be, when you come to the land which ‫יהוה‬ 0T 0T

gives you, as He promised, that you shall guard this service. And it shall
be, when your children say to you, ‘What does this service mean to
you?’ Then you shall say, ‘It is the Passover slaughtering for ‫יהוה‬, who
0T 0T

passed over the houses of the children of Israel, in Mitsrayim when He

smot the Mitsrites and delivered your households.’

Shemot 13:9, ‘And it shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a

reminder between your eyes, that the Torah of ‫יהוה‬
0T 0T is to be in your
mouth, for with a strong hand ‫ יהוה‬brought you out of Mitsrayim. And
0T 0T

you shall guard this law at its appointed time from year to year.’

At that time, the Israelites did not know exactly why they were being
instructed the way they were. They were to take a Lamb for a
household and kill it in the evening and place the blood of the lamb on
the doorpost and lintel of their homes that the angel of death not visit
their families. As Instructed, the survivors of that ‘lesson to the rest
of the world’ throughout time, had a firsthand view of both the power
of the deity of Israel, and His Honor and designation to the rest of the
world that Israel are His people. They had no real idea why they were
under the hand of ruthless men at the time of Exodus, for under
Pharaoh at the first, they were honored and given the land of Goshen,
the most fertile within Egypt we are told.

They were instructed then and later in Scripture after they were
delivered from the hand of their oppressors, to keep what they had
experienced as an everlasting Law among them.

Scripture tells us that the First Month of the year given them then for
the first time was the MONTH OF THE AVIV. That is, the Month Aviv,
their first month, would be named after the Month of the Aviv. The
Aviv is the month in the spring when the first fruits become ready for
harvest, that the farmer or grower could bring his offering into the
Temple or Tent then, to the Cohen Gadol to celebrate Yom HaBikkurim –
Day of the First Fruit Offering, and the meaning of this offering is A
promise to come, by bringing in the Wave Sheaf for an offering to
YHVH. The High Priest would wave the first fruits before YHVH to
satisfy the instruction of the First Fruit offering. The Israelites had no
idea what this offering signified for many centuries, but in obedience to
instructions, they kept this Moadim-Appointed time, Pesach and Hag Ha
Matzot -- Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread, completely along
with Yom HaBikkurim, Which brings us to the purpose of this writing.

Wayyiqra 23 – Leviticus speaks the exact Words instructions for all

Israel. This should be studied between each and every one of us every
year and in-between the feast for more understanding as we mature in
the Word. Abba will give the increase to everyone who will take the
time in humility to know His Words and His intent in speaking His Word.

There were many fruits ready for harvest in the Land of Israel then,
and the instructions were to keep them “When you come into the land
which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf
of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest,” Lev 23:10.

Throughout the world, many crops are harvested at different times

depending upon weather, climate and north and south of the equator
adds to the difficulty to ascertain from everywhere the Feast is to be
kept. For those who dwell in the land of Israel there is no question
because the instructions above state clearly “When you come into the
land which I give you…”

If we all follow the instructions above, we would have to either dwell in

the land, or follow those that do. Therefore we are left to us no
recourse but to follow what comes from Israel, and if we do not while
living else ware, follow the ‘from Israel’ timetable, we are left to
discovery on our own.

Within the land of Israel are groups of people that search throughout
the land for the First Fruits of the year that we may all come together
in keeping these Feasts together. Since the instructions are for all who
dwell in the land, to keep properly and according to HaAretz Israel, we
must choose which group to follow. There are greenhouses throughout
the land that harvest earlier than the Controlled Weather, Temperature
and climate which Abba YHVH does for us all over the world. Since it is
HE Who keeps HIS Calendar clearly century after century, year after
year, and HE keeps it perfectly, as I see it, we must follow HIM at His
bidding and leading to celebrate these Feasts His Way, or at least in
His Time and as best we can.

I am set along with many on keeping Pesach and Hag HaMatzot when the
Barley is at the stage of Aviv: When the ears of grain are at a point of
maturity that will be found ripe and ready for this Feast. One must
examine the Barley before Rosh Chodesh to be sure that it will be ready
14 days later to proclaim the New Year, because the ‘Month of the
Aviv’ is the first month of the year for all Israel, according to
Scripture, and it is the Aviv grain that must be used for the Wave
Sheaf the day after the Shabbat following Pesach. Briefly, Pesach is
the 14th of the Aviv. The Shabbat following is Hag HaMatzot, Feast of
Unleavened Bread, the 15th of the Aviv; The day following is the 16th of
the Aviv - Yom HaBikkurim. The promise to come was yet future each
time it was celebrated, because to keep the Prophecy perfectly, our
Jewish Messiah must have been in the grave for the complete Three
Days and Three nights. Doing the math properly, we come to Erev-
evening of Day Seventeen for His Change, which was completed many
centuries later. Erev 14 begins day 15. Day 15 completes itself at Erev
15 or the beginning of day 16 and in that evening begins day 17 and is
the Third Day following the Burial of Messiah. That Evening completes
the prophecy of Three days and Three nights in the grave. He did not
rise on the 16th as some teach; the prophecy must be satisfied that we
not come to error, because the prophecy itself certainly does not lie.

I am at this time waiting for the report from Israel.

Going by the spring equinox will not satisfy the first fruits offering,
because you were not allowed to eat of the grain until the Wave Sheaf
be offered, and who can we follow if Abba YHVH is in control of the
weather? Seven out of Nineteen years there is an Adar-Bet or, Two
months of Adar - the Twelfth month, better said a thirteen month
year.

You see, it is not just the beginning of the year, but the beginning of
the season, and Abba YHVH controls HIS Calendar on both precepts.
We cannot pick and choose if we are following HIM and not man.

If enough Barley is found in HaAretz – The Land of Israel, the year

begins at Rosh Chodesh our pagan ‘Monday at sundown,’ a Shabbat and
is what we call Tuesday the Sixteenth. Our first work day will be
Wednesday on the Pagan Calendar when the first sliver of the new moon
is sighted. Think of it this way: when there is no moon the moon is at
rest; when it begins to work again we will see the first sliver at sundown
and know that the next day is our first work day also. Six out of
Nineteen months there is a three day rest period at the end of the
month.

The seeming confusion here is because we adhere to a pagan calendar

calling days by their pagan names that begin at a different time than
the Actual Days set before us by YHVH. When we can think in our
conscious minds Day One, Day Two, Day Three and so on, when we get
to the Seventh Day we call it Shabbat, and we know that these days
begin at sundown. When we can think this way, and get the pagan
rendering out of us, this breaks down much simpler than what we were
following in the past. So stay with it and before you know it things will
clear up.
If not enough Aviv Barley is found by Rosh Chodesh- no moon
day, Pesach will be on our Pagan April 28. Enough Barley found will begin
Pesach on March 30, or 29th at sundown.

This is a controversial and highly argued Moadim among seekers of

Perfection. Since Abba YHVH is the epitome of perfection, I will
continue to follow HIM. If He corrects me in my following for any
reason during any season, that reason HE will discuss with me, only then
will I make a change. If that were to happen would mean, in that
particular Moadim, there is an error in my observance. I do not see
that we are to calculate a particular Moadim or Set Apart Day, as we
are instructed to follow by OBSERVANCE. We observe the Lunar Cycle,
not calculate it; although in areas and at times observance is impossible,
we have phases of the moon charts to observe for guidance. But the
best and most accurate observance is done by sight.

Now, allow me to tell you the manner in which I wrote this report to
you. After asking HIM for advice, knowing that I do not live in
HaAretz, and because of that must rely upon men to some degree to
get the year started, as always, we spoke of how this would be written.
Should it be an outline for anyone to take from there, or would it be
perfect? How can I be perfect without HIM?

If you do not live in the land, you are exempt as the instructions state
that it is when He brings us into the land. When we are choosing to
celebrate with Israel, the magnificent eternally ‘YHVH given’ Pesach, we
know from which Rock you were hewn and celebrate with YHVH the way
HE instructed and commanded to do so, and begin to understand our
Roots. You are exempt from getting this right if you do not abide in the
land yes, but habits form when we keep in our heart’s a solemn
assembly, so let us try and get this right.

News Flash:
I just received the e-mail that Aviv Barley was found in the Jordon
Valley to confirm the preliminary dates for Pesach and Feast of Matzot.
To be sure, the Barley will be checked again on our pagan March 16-17
to confirm. If confirmation is achieved, I will celebrate Pesach beginning
at evening-sundown on March 29. If this does not match what others
are observing, that is OK, since we are responsible to no one but YHVH.

There is also provision in Scripture for any who overlook or miss Pesach
to follow the observance the following Month. Abba has us covered, but
the Moadim is an everlasting convocation throughout our generations for
all who dwell in the land.

End Notes.
I personally cannot see following by the equinox, because it follows a
solar season instead of a Moadim kept annually by YHVH Himself.
Everywhere in the world, the climate is different in various spring’s.
Some are early, some late, but the weather is what determines when
the crops will emerge for harvest, and it is the First Fruits or the Aviv
that we observe. The harvest of the grain determines when the year
begins on the system YHVH institutes. Seven out of Nineteen years
there is an Adar Bet, a thirteen month year, and the harvest season
will follow according to the climate, temperature, rain, and all of that is
kept by our Creator. When these Moadim were set, the weather in the
Land of Israel was perfectly following the command given it by YHVH.
Has it changed today?

All of the above can be debated and argued. Mankind loves to bring to
none affect what Abba has set before us. In doing so, we become
confused and begin to adhere to the wiles of religious men, spiritually
set and motivated for that purpose. Abba tells us to follow Him. All we
have to do is the best we can to the best of our ability. When we give
over all to HIM, He can best guide us. If we are holding back, we can
come under the influence of religious men.

Many well meaning teachers are doing the best they can to help in this
endeavor. The ultimate responsibility falls upon us, and since that is
true, we do ourselves good service by following as close to YHVH as
possible. We can listen to all of the studies, calculate from them what
to do, but in the end, we are responsible.

I would rather do observance than calculation. Observance is the way it

was set up at the first. In this way we are responsible to no man.
