the methods that are now used and stressing that is just the

The videos also show that technology can be an efficient and

D) In the video A Brief History of Technology in Education shows the

example of Web 2.0, where users can share and materials and to
express what they think and raise their ideas to others. Also we can find
mobile learning in this video, as well the different devices like cell
phones, tablets and laptops.
In the video The History of Technology in Education we can situated
the internet in the Digital Age. It shows the era when internet we can
communicate around the world with another people and share material.
4A) We talk about Web 2.0 because it is the way to connect and share
content on other web sites for others to see, read it and comment about
it. Also it is a useful way to communicate around the world

communication between users around the world, such as social networks

they have different meanings and different uses. Internet is a network

F) I think that Web 2.0 was a breakthrough in technology and a great

benefit to education. It has changed the way of teaching and learning by

5A) Phonetics and Phonology
The tools that I could use in this course are:

Glogster : It is a tool for create interactive or digital Glogs poster

that is presented as an image with interactive and multimedia
content in which users can interact with them. It provides an
environment to design interactive posters to express ideas or write
stories by combining images, graphics, audio or videos. In
Phonetics and Phonology, I suggest that each student can choose
a topic, make their own poster with theory, images or a video
relate with and share them with the group. This could be an easy
and funnier way to study and help each other.

Audacity: Is a free, easy-to-use, multi-track audio editor and

recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating
systems. The interface is translated into many languages. This
freeware tool gives you the freedom to use a program, study how
it works, improve it and share it with others.
Students can record themselves reading aloud and listen to
themselves. On this way they can practice their pronunciation and
improve.

Popplet: In the classroom or at home, students use Popplet for

learning. Used as a mind-map, it can help students to think and

learn visually. They can capture theory, facts, thoughts, and

images and learn to create relationships between them. In
Phonetics and Phonology they can summarize theory and joining
them with pictures about the theme. For example, post theory and
images about the vocal folds.

YouTube: It is a website where users can upload and share videos.

In this website you can find a variety of movie clips, TV shows,
tutorials and music videos as well as amateur content. In Phonetics
and Phonology, as a teacher I can share with them an explanation
about any topic, as well as recording to myself explaining
something. For example, I can share them a video about the vocal
folds or an explanation about the quadrilateral of English vowels.

LearnEnglish: It is a website. This free British Council site offers

games, stories, listening activities and grammar exercises that can
help students to improve vocabulary, writing and grammar. It has
a special section with listening exercises. In phonetics and
phonology I can use this tool so that students can practice
pronunciation reading poems or tongue twisters.

Offline: OpenTeacher. It allows language teachers to develop customized
vocabulary tests for students. The application is very easy to set up and
use and the tests themselves exist as individual files. So, once a teacher
has created and saved a language vocabulary words test, the teacher
can then distribute the file to all students to take the test.
Online: Wordshift is a very useful tool in the teaching of languages and
multiple possibilities. It is based on Google allows us to enter a text and
we generated a series of results. Wordshift is a useful graphic dictionary,
looking for connections between words and improves lexical.
