How To Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 Using TaiG [Guide] | Redmond Pie

TaiG iOS 8.1.2 jailbreak has been released. Here is a complete step by step guide on how you can jailbreak any iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS
8.1.2 using TaiG.
TaiG jailbreak for iOS 8.1.2 supports:
iPhone 6 Plus
iPhone 6
iPhone 5s, 5c
iPhone 5
iPhone 4s
iPad Air 2, iPad Air 1, iPad mini 3, 2, 1, iPad 4, 3, 2
iPod touch 5

Before we begin:
Backup your device using iTunes or iCloud.
Restore to iOS 8.1.2 using iTunes even if you are already updated to iOS 8.1.2 via OTA. You can download iOS 8.1.2 from here.
Turn off Lock Screen passcode and Touch ID. Settings > General > Touch ID & Passcode > Turn Passcode Off.
Turn off Find My iPhone as well. Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone.
Heres how to jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 on Windows:
Step 1: First up, download TaiG v1.2.0 or over for Windows.
Step 2: Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your computer via USB.
Step 3: Start TaiG. Uncheck the 3K Assitant option and hit the green Start button.

Step 4: TaiG will now begin to jailbreak your device. During the jailbreak process, do not disconnect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Once it is
complete, your device will restart and you will have latest version of Cydia installed on the main home screen.

Cydia version 1.1.16 running on iOS 8.1.2

Its that easy!

hello there ive just jailbroke my iphone 4s 8.1.2 ios i want to unlock to all carriers but when i try install ultrasn0w i get errors ----> subprocess /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) and ---- >subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 255 any help

Hi, I did jailbreak it as cydia installed and worked OK ... but I received no service after that ... I even tried to restart my iphone 6 several
times... no luck...
I used my previous backup to restore but nothing
Here is the tip in case it happen to someone else...
I downloaded 8.1.2 firmware (link is available in this blog)
Restored by IPSW format.
Cydia has been removed completely
It almost scared the bejesus out of me...
But i will try that jailbreak again...

I just got an iPhone 6 plus for my friend who is on my account. I want to jailbreak it before sending it to him. Can I jailbreak it without
actually activating the phone because I am going to have to mail it to him and I don't want him to not be able to use his current phone

*Download the firmware from the link above ^ then restore the iphone and just jailbreak it right after that and the phone should be

I followed the instruction and succeeded in jailbreaking my iPad 2. But when I pressed on Cydia and started blinking weird. Cydia
crashed and ALL apps are gone. I only have a blank screen. I can use spotlight that only let me find the U2 album songs that I can't even
play. My computer can't recognize my iPad so iTunes can't find my iPad in recovery and DFU mode. Please help!

Damn my girlfriend effin updated my iPhone to iOS 8.1.2 then tried restoring my iPhone back to the iOS 8.1.1 before I got home hoping I
wouldn't notice. What she didn't realize is you can't do an iCloud backup without my iTunes password which she doesn't have. She
says she did the restore by accident "okay, accident my @ss". I hope I can jailbreak on iOS 8.1.2 cuz I need to install the bigU Movies
app from Cydia that I got from either xsellize repo, insanelyi repo, Appcake or Zeusmos. I was just using the bigU Movies app yesterday
and I already downloaded the movies The Interview, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Exodus: Gods and Kings, Horrible
Bosses 2, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, Interstellar, John Wick & Fury. I planned to start watching them tonight and this shit
happens. lmao, I will have to upgrade to iOS 8.1.2 and hope there is a jailbreak so I can download these movies from bigU Movies app
again. lol
