For my Master project at the Weissensee KHB, I

chose to deal with a non convinient topic of the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict from the perspective of
religion. Since recently there is a common claim
among the Israelis that the political conflict is
actually a religouse conflict, I wanted to examine
the social ethics in the primary books of Islam
and Judaism and to see what the differences
actually are.

I started my project by collecting the social rules

from the Torah and Quran and then published
the comparison on a website, booklets and
posters. I conducted 4 workshops to convey the
comparison further and to confront peoples
reactions to my proposal.

I was interviewing different people regarding the

topic, made a meeting between a Rabbi and a
Muslim guide, documemted the workshops in
video, and edited the whole footage into a 33
minutes report regarding the project.
In this project I used my communication design
skills and my natural curiousity for the attempt to
create a new dialogue in a fragile circumstances.

For his second album decided Avi Goldfinger, to

publish a poem book along his music recording
and to make a visual interpretation for each song
in a video format. The full content of the project
is presented online and contains his first album
material and an illustrated book he published few
years ago.

Following the albums title What Do You Know

About Jesus Anyway, we decided to print his
book on a paper known in Israel as Bible Paper.
We chose the Halftone Manipulation in black
and white as the main graphic appearance,
resembling the poetry, drawing an Image by
using many fragments of words.

Most of Goldfingers songs dealing with his

search for love in the urban environment of Tel
Aviv, and so we chose for the main image a
figure of a feminine Centaur, as a symbol for his
utopic unreachable love.
This project was executed in collaboration with
Yossi Assulyn at the Yellow Sub studio.

Yael Bartana is an international video artist based

in Berlin and Amsterdam. She comes originally
from Israel and deals in many of her works with
the theme of Identity. She is represented by the
Capitain Petzel Galleries in Berlin and New York
and in the Annet Gelink Gallery in Amsterdam.

Her most famouse work is the video trilogy And

Europe Will Be Stunned from 2007-2011. With
this piece she represented Poland in the Venice
Art Biennale at 2011.

Ya e l B a r t a n a

With a collaboration of Gila Kaplan we created

different graphic visuals for her recent projects:
Zwei Minuten Stillstand which was a part of the
Impulse Theater Biennale at Cologne, Inferno,
True Finn & Pardes (Orchard). Along that we
created her visual identity for her studio which
includes a logo, stationary, website, collectors
packages and more.

The JRC FOOD CHALLENGE is a software

game that allows users to learn about the
environmental impact of their food choices. The
game features three levels, each of which focuses
on a different environmental impact (climate
change, land use and nitrogen pollution).

In each level, users can select between different

PLAY
traditional European dishes. Their aim is to find
the dish with the lowest carbon, land-use and
nitrogen footprint respectively. Users can access
layers of helpful information (ranging from
simple tips to in-depth information about the
environmental impact calculations) and receive
feedback on their choices.

The game was developed by 2- Services in

GIOCARE
cooperation with the Institute for Environment
and Sustainability, Joint Research Consortium of
the European Union and was part of the official
EU pavilion at the Expo 2015 in Milan.
