The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the the New York State Forest Rangers
are actively engaged in a land and air search on Burgoyne Rd in the Town of Saratoga for a missing
adult male who was last seen at his residence approximately 10:00AM yesterday morning. The
Sheriff's Office was notified by the subjects family at approximately 6AM this morning of the
disappearance and after an initial investigation is was determined that the subject is most possibly
still on the property and steps were taken to initial a search.
The subject, Frederick "Fritzie" Drumm, age 68, described as a white male, 5'5", 175lbs is
believed to have left his residence on foot. The home is located on approximately 170 acres of mixed
farmland and woods and is adjoined by significant other heavily wooded properties. It is unknown
what clothing he was wearing when he left the residence or a direction of travel.
The Sheriff's Office and Forest Rangers are being assisted by the New York State Police Aviation
Unit, Schuylerville Fire Department and multiple fire agencies from adjoining districts. In total
over 50 members of the various agencies are actively on the scene participating in the search effort.
