Dear Azrie,
How are you? I heard from Aunty Emma that you have not been feeling
well lately. Im sorry to hear that. Maybe you have not been eating well. Im sure
you will feel healthier, have more energy and be fit and strong if you watch what
you eat.
Firstly, you need to stick to a balanced diet (C1). You can do that by
following the food pyramid (E1).The food pyramid will give you a guideline of
what to eat and how much portion should you take per serving (E2). If you
consume food based on the pyramid, your diet will be filled with nutritional
content (C2). I am sure you will feel the difference if you practise this (E1).
Secondly, start your day with a good breakfast (C3). Do not take fatty food
like nasi lemak or roti canai (E1). Instead, take food that is easy to digest but
fulfils your tummy (E2). Food like bread, cereal and fresh fruits can help you start
the day (E1) so you are able to perform daily activities better (C4).
Thirdly, prepare your own snacks (
). Eating a healthy snack is actually
good because it will help you control your hunger (
). You can make a
sandwich, a nutritious vegetable salad or a simple fried rice (
). Bringing or
making your own snack will do you good as you need to be selective of what you
eat. If you have done that, it means you have made a healthier choice in life
(
).
I know you have a sweet tooth but you need to limit your consumption of
sugar and salt (
). Cakes, carbonated drinks, chocolates and ice-cream are
delicious but you need to reduce that kind of food in your diet (
). Do you
know that high intake of sugar and salt can cause you to have diseases like
diabetes and high blood pressure? (
). So, Azrie, do eat sensibly (
) and
eat only when you are hungry (
).
Lastly, remember to eat in moderate portions (
). You may find it
difficult at first because you are not used to it but remember what they say,

Practice makes perfect (

). Azrie, you can be healthy if you want to, but
the effort to lead a healthier life must come from you. Therefore make the effort
to eat right (
).
Okay cousin, I think I have given quite a number of tips for you to follow.
Do change your eating habit so that you can be fit again. I cant wait to see you
during the next school holidays and watch your transformation with my own
eyes! Cheerio!!. Regards to Aunty Emma and Uncle Sudin.
Your cousin,

Isabella
