1.0 Creating Storage Location

1.1 Steps to create Storage Location
Navigation: Main Menu -> Inventory -> Maintain Storage Locations -> Storage Areas

Provide the Storage Area Name and click on Add button:

Provide the following inputs in the below screen and click on save button:
Description

: Location 1

Short Description

: Location 1

Storage Level Display: 1 (or as per requirement)

1.2 Steps to create Storage level

Navigation: Main Menu -> Inventory -> Material Storage Locations -> Material Storage
Locations
Select the Storage Location created in the above step: LOC1.

Click on the symbol to provide the Levels to the Storage Location:

Provide Level 1 information

Note: Only 1 level is provided for Storage Location: LOC1 so only Level1 information is
available to be input)

Provide the following inputs and Click on Save Button:

Level 1
Loc Type

: LEV1
: BIN

Container Type : SBIN (i.e. Single Bin)

2.0 Express Putaway

2.1 Steps to define Express Putaway
Step: Navigate to below and provide the following input:
Navigation: Inventory -> Putaway Stock -> Express Putaway
Enter the following information and click on Search Button:
Business Unit = US001

Click on Search Button and provide the following information:

Item ID

: SAMPLEITEM

Storage Location

: LOC1

Quantity

:1

Click on Putaway Location link and verify the Location Area and Location Level information,
click on Return Button

Click on Save Button and Notice the Receipt ID generated: RCV00420

3.0 Inventory Transfer:

3.1 Steps to check the current inventory status
Check the status of an Inventory Item using the following navigation:
Navigation:

Main Menu -> Inventory -> Manage Inventory -> Inventory Status

Provide Business unit = US001 and click on Search

Provide the Item ID

Provide the storage location for which we want to know the status:

3.2 Navigate to Inventory Transfer Page

Navigation:

Main Menu -> Inventory -> Manage Inventory -> Transfers

Provide the following information and click on Search

Business unit

: US001

Storage Location

: Zone1

Click on the Transfer Link on the page and enter the Quantity to be transferred and tab
out

Enter the Quantity to be transferred as 10 and the Destination Storage Location as ZONE2
