EFFORT/PARTICIPATION: Student actively participates in all aspects of class with


maximum effort while exerting a vigorous effort when appropriate during class: This
means physical activity will cause students to sweat and be out of breath. While doing
vigorous activity students shouldnt be able to say more than a few words without
pausing for a breath
ATTITUDE: Attitude is always positive and enthusiastic towards all activities and
classmates
RULES & SAFETY: Student follows established rules & helps & encourages others to do
the same. Exemplary understanding of safety principles are displayed by the student.
GAMEPLAY: Student excels at game/activity strategy, & includes classmates during play
time. They work at helping others contribute to the strategic success of their team.
OBJECTIVES: Student meets and exceeds daily objectives.
EFFORT/PARTICIPATION: Student actively participates in all aspects of class with good
effort while demonstrating safety principles. Student exerts a moderate-intensity
physical activities will cause students to sweat a little and to breathe harder. While doing
moderate-intensity activity students should still be able to talk, but not sing along to
their favorite song.
ATTITUDE: Attitude is consistently positive and enthusiastic towards all activities
and classmates
RULES & SAFETY: Student usually follows established rules & approaches activities in a
safe manner.
GAMEPLAY: Moves up and down the field or court with game play and attempts to
include teammates & contribute to the success of their team. Demonstrates a good
understanding of strategy in order to achieve success.
OBJECTIVES: Student meets daily objectives.
EFFORT/PARTICIPATION: Student participates in most aspects of class with adequate
effort while demonstrating safety principles. Exerts good effort if the teacher is watching,
if with friends, if winning, if good at activity but requires prompting to put forth an
acceptable level of effort. . . an iffy effort.
ATTITUDE: Displays indifferent attitude towards activity and/or classmates.
RULES & SAFETY: Student followed established rules some of the time. Generally
approaches activities in a manner that is safe to themselves and their classmates.
GAMEPLAY: Moves up and down the field or court with game play but struggles to
include teammates & contribute to the success of their team. Demonstrates some
understanding of strategy.
OBJECTIVES: Student attempted, but did not meet daily objectives.
EFFORT/PARTICIPATION: Student minimally participates in some aspects of class.
Student displays sedentary behavior: very little physical movement
Going through the motions . . . no sweat!!!
ATTITUDE: Numerous excuses why they cant work hard.
GAMEPLAY: Does not cooperate with classmates and contributes little to strategy i.e.
only plays the ball if it comes to them, stands in the corner and only tags those that
come near them.
RULES & SAFETY: Student rarely followed established rules.
OBJECTIVES: Student did not meet daily objectives.
EFFORT/PARTICIPATION: Student did not participate in class.
Student displays a negative attitude towards the activity and/or classmates.
GAMEPLAY: Does not attempt to involve self in the game.
RULES & SAFETY: Student is unaware of established rules.
OBJECTIVES: little effort was made to demonstrate daily objective.
