Child Sexual Abuse Prevention: Good Touch/Bad Touch

The 3-Day Good Touch/Bad Touch curriculum is for children pre-k through 5 grade. It helps children understand
what sexual abuse is (tricked or forced touch of private parts), what to do about it (trust your Uh-Oh feeling, say
NO, get away, and tell someone), and that it is never your fault.
Child Abuse Puppet Program: Someone to Talk To

This program is for children in 3 grade. It lasts approximately 45 minutes and uses puppets to discuss child abuse
issues (including physical abuse, medical neglect, and sexual abuse. It teaches children that if they have a problem,
they need to tell an adult they trust.
Sexual Harassment Prevention
This program is for students in elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. This program discusses
all aspects of sexual harassment to include: defining sexual harassment, types of sexual harassment, risk
reduction, confronting your harasser, and reporting sexual harassment.
Dating Abuse Prevention: Safe Dates
This multi-session curriculum is designed to target middle school and high school students, which is the age group
most at risk of being victims or perpetrators of dating violence and sexual assault. Safe Dates deals with attitudes
and behaviors associated with dating abuse and violence. Topics include: defining caring relationships, defining
dating abuse, why people abuse, how to help friends, overcoming gender stereotypes, communication skills for
resolving conflict, and preventing dating sexual abuse.

Healthy Relationships
This program is for middle school, high school, and college students. It discusses healthy vs. unhealthy
relationships, dating abuse, social skills for healthy relationships, early warning signs, and how to help a friend.
Curriculums such as Building Healthy Relationships and Aggressors, Victims, and Bystanders are used.
Sexual Assault Awareness
This program is for high school, college, and adults. This prevention program focuses on safety awareness and
techniques. This program instructs students on personal safety issues, techniques, tactics, and prevention.
Internet Safety
This program is available for elementary schools, middle schools, teachers, and parents. Various curriculums such
as NetSmartz and Click on Safety are used to teach terminology, critical thinking skills, good judgment, and
preventing sexual exploitation on the internet.
Step Up. Step In.
Step Up. Step In. is a collaborative campaign headed by the Georgia Department of Public Health in partnership
with the Georgia Network to End Sexual Assault and sexual assault centers across Georgia. The program prevents
sexual bullying by teaching adolescents and teens about offensive behaviors so they do not perpetrate them
against each other. The campaign also teaches youth how to respond if they experience, witness, hear about, or
suspect any form of sexual bullying.
Womens Self-Defense Training
This program is a 2 night self-defense class for female teens and adults. It is meant to provide information and
awareness on sexual assaults. It covers the prevalence of sexual assault, the dynamics of a sexual assault, dispels
myth and stereotypes, and teaches verbal and physical techniques that can be used.
Faculty and Parent Programs
All prevention programs can be presented to faculty or parent groups. These programs are tailored to specific
needs and/or issues that the faculty or parents want to address.
Professional Training
This program offers specialized training for any individual or organization working with sexual assault victims.
Male Involvement Programs
This program is for males to raise awareness of attitudes and behaviors that foster sexual assault.
