As the Court is aware, Defendant MARICOPA COUNTY (the County), 1 on

November 16, 2015, filed herein a Motion for Judicial Notice of Costs Incurred (Doc.

Maricopa County and The County, as used herein, are intended to refer to that
body politic and corporate created by Article XII, 1 of the Arizona Constitution and

1553) At the hearing in this matter on November 20, 2015, undersigned counsel advised
the Court that copies of the Monitors invoices, which were supposed to have been
included in Exhibit A to the Motion, had inadvertently been omitted, and that the
County would be submitting those invoices in a supplemental filing. Tr. 4796-97, 4807.
The aforementioned invoices are attached hereto as Exhibit 1.
As the Countys counsel further advised the Court at the November 20 hearing,
Plaintiffs and Plaintiff-Intervenor the UNITED STATES, declined to stipulate that the
invoices constitute evidence that the amounts on the invoices had actually been paid, and
had asked that the County try to find documentation confirming payment. In the interim,
the County identified the documents attached hereto as Exhibit 2.

That exhibit is

comprised of a copy of the hard copy check by which the Monitors first invoice was
paid, and printed copies of the electronic records of all subsequent payments, all of which
have been made via electronic transfer.
Counsel for Plaintiffs and Plaintiff-Intervenor were provided copies of the
documents comprising Exhibits 1 and 2 hereto prior to the filing of this Supplemental
Brief.

It is undersigned counsels understanding that they object to the Countys

statements in footnote 1 to this motion, but do not intend to oppose the Countys Motion
for Judicial Notice (Doc. 1553), as supplemented hereby.
