sitting itself) ACCA will waive the fee (or part thereof) for the next attempt at the paper(s) unless such suspension, cancellation or otherwise is caused by an epidemic,
pandemic or any other event against which ACCA is unable to obtain insurance on reasonable commercial terms. Due to the nature and complexity of operating
professional examinations, ACCA reserves the right not to reschedule any examination or offer any compensation other than as specified above.

EXAMINATION REGULATIONS
Taking your ACCA exams is part of your journey towards becoming an ACCA professional accountant and we therefore expect you to act in a professional manner when taking
your exams. The following rules on conduct apply to students completing projects or sitting paper-based and computer-based exams, as well as those taking internallyassessed ACCA courses.
1 You are required to comply in all respects
with any instructions issued by the registrar,
exam supervisor and invigilators before and
during an exam.
2 You may not attempt to deceive the registrar
or the exam supervisor by giving false or
misleading information.
3 If you are given reading time at the beginning of
the exam, you are not allowed to open or write
on your answer booklet until the supervisor
tells you to do so at the end of the reading time.
You are, however, permitted to write on your
question paper.
4 If you are given reading time at the beginning of
the exam, the exam is considered to be in
progress from the start of the reading time.
5 You are not allowed to take to your exam desk
any books, notes or other materials except
those authorised by the registrar. These are
known as unauthorised materials.
EXAMINATION GUIDELINES
Before the Examinations
You may only sit the paper(s) chosen by you and
shown on this document.
You may only sit at the examination centre shown
on this document.
You should retain this document and take it with
you to the examination centre where:
- it will ensure your entry to the examination

- it will be retained by the centre supervisor after
your last examination in the session.
You must not make any additional markings on
this document.
In addition to this document, you should also take
your Student Registration Card or another official

please note that your desk number may vary from
paper to paper and if you do not sit at the correct
desk your candidate answer booklet(s) may be
rendered invalid.
During the Examination
Please ensure that you arrive on time for your
examination(s) as you will not be given extra time if
you are late.
All three hour exams include 15 minutes of reading
and planning time, starting at the time stated on this
docket. During reading and planning time, you may
annotate your question paper but cannot open your
answer booklet.
The Supervisor will not allow you to enter the

You are not permitted to leave the hall permanently
until the end of the session.
If you are required to leave the hall for a short
