Con-ways MDM Service: Updating Smartphones

Introduction
Last December, Con-way implemented a policy for all corporate-owned smartphones so we can better
comply with mobile-device and security best practices. The first part of this effort required you to set a
password on your device. The next step of this effort is to have you install AirWatch, a remote devicemanagement app.
Why do we need this new functionality?
1.

We can remotely wipe the device if it is lost or stolen.

2.

We can automatically manage and push patches and new features to devices so you dont
have to.

3.

We can control the devices security settings, incorporating new features and enhancements
as needed.

Thank you in advance for your patience and support during this security upgrade.
