Event Bus was born in October 2014 with the purpose of realizing a flexible and various range of
transportation services to help the customers in easily reach their destination. Although the prototype has
to be realized yet, project and its specification are completed. The ownership of the company will be
divided as a partnership between three founders: Alessio, Christos Terzis and Jasenko onlagi.
The offered services are:
1. Event transportation services
2. Airport transportation services
3. Disco transportation services
4. Shopping Transportation services
5. Limo Transportation services
6. Sightseeing local tours services
Initially, the company will operate with six, eight passenger minivans, and rented bus and limos. The
companys goal is to provide affordable, reliable, and safe transportation to its customers, allowing them
to avoid the inconveniences that go along with driving and carpooling. So the main aspect of the
companys services is travelling safe. Some of the advantages in using the companys services are:
1. Convenience:
2. Comfort: any customer can find the service who fits him/her the best, so that each can enjoy the
trip;
3. Customization: the customers desire are important, so the company will organize an event if
many people want it;
The private transportation industry in Germany is very competitive and so the companies that enter the
business newly, try to stay competitive by offering low fares for person per kilometres. In this scenario,
Event Bus wants to beat the competitors offering affordable services with the will of becoming synonym
of trust, speed and faith: faith in a service, who puts the customer in first line, helping him/her to reach
the desired destination, also offering increased comfort, entertainment, and convenience to make the trip
an experience that customers will want to re-live. The company is able to form important partnerships
with customers and cater to their needs.

III. General Company Description

Mission Statement
Event Bus is a company specialized in transportation service to and from various events, including
concerts, discos, festivals, expos and similar. The provided services will offer a convenient, safe and easy
way to reach the desired destinations and to come back home without getting lost, at a price who is lower
than the public transportation one.

Company Goals
The main goal is to offer services across the country and possibly even expanding to neighbouring
countries, being able to transport, as many customers as possible, to popular and predefined destinations
and on demand destinations per high customer requests.
At the beginning, the business of the company also relies on partnerships with charter companies for
renting buses and limousine and event organizers for making deals and getting discounts for the
customers.

Company Objectives
The objective is to become a profitable alternative to public transportation. In the first year, the plan is to
offer steady and regular transportations from Frankfurt to different event locations which will be held
nearby. To accomplish this, partnerships will be formed with multiple charter vehicles companies, from
which Event Bus will rent buses and limos for the transportation to and from events, as well as forming
possible partnerships with event organizers expos, outlet stores, concert organizers and similar.
For the second year, after establishing in the greater Frankfurt area, the plan is to offer transportation
services across Germany, expanding our event portfolio to offer a various catalogue and also to offer ondemand event organizations, which customers will be able to request. When budget allows it, the
company will start to work on its own bus fleet, so over time it will rely less on third party bus companies,
becoming more independent, as it will operate on bought vehicles.

Business Philosophy
Safety and satisfaction of the customers are the main factor of Event Bus philosophy. They must feel
safe while using any of the available services, also having no worries like if they will arrive on time at their
destination or not.

The services will be marketed towards different target groups (depending on event type). For example, we
will offer events to outlet stores, targeted mostly toward families and females, while disco and concert
events will focus on the younger populations. The company offers services towards people who are more
willing to spend money on an experience (event), rather than material products.
The transportation industry in Germany is expecting yearly growths. Since the liberalization of the
intercity bus market and generally the regional transportation service market in January of 2013, there was
a rise of bus transportation companies and regional bus lines. In 2013, 8,2 Million customers were
travelling via bus in Germany, which amounted to 2,7 billion passenger kilometres. Event Bus wants to
take advantage of this new and growing industry by entering the market early, and try and establish itself
as one of the main competitors in the Rhine-Main area, while also planning to expand regionally.

Ownership
The ownership of the company will be divided as a partnership between the three founders. Alessio
Nazio will own 34% of the company, Christos Terzis 33%, and Jasenko onlagi 33%.

IV. Products and Services

Event Bus is a bus service who offers cheap, convenient and customizable solutions to the public transportation of
Frankfurt am Main.

What are the services offered?

Event transportation services

Airport transportation services

Disco transportation services

Shopping Transportation services

Limo Transportation services

Sightseeing local tours services

Event Transportation Services

The primary revenue center for the business will come from providing event busing services to groups of
individuals with a common interest. The trips are confirmed once there is a minimum number of
customers (generally a number between twenty and thirty, depending on how big and important is the
event). The events are:
1. Concerts
2. Theatrical Performances
3. Sport Events
In the first case, on the website/App, a button will appear near the concert name with Book it, so that
a user will take a seat on the bus and he/she will be counted for the minimum number of participants
who needs to be reached for the event organization, while with Purchase it a user will buy the ticket for
the trip who has already reached that number (so, it is already organized). For the ones who have just
booked the ticket, an e-mail for confirming the event will be sent and the payment will be requested.
The fee is between 0.04-0.09 per person/km (depending on the number of participants, toll roads, ).

Airport Transportation Services

Event Bus provides airport transportation service between Flughafen Frankfurt-Hahn Airport and
Flughafen Frankfurt am Main. The service is available from Monday to Sundays for all the year. The
service starts at 3.30 AM from Monday to Friday and at 5.00 AM from Saturday to Sunday, while it ends
at 11.30 AM from Monday to Friday and at 9.00 AM from Saturday to Sunday.

The distance between the two airports is around 113 Kms1 and a shuttle takes around an hour to reach
the destination. The price for the ticket per adult person will be 10 (ca 0.09 per person/km). The fee is
so high because the shuttles will leave also if they are not completely full (or, in the worst case, empty),
but it allows to be competitive with others.
Each of the four rented buses have 50 seats.

Disco Transportation Services

The disco transportation Service allow customers to reach the club they desire quickly and safely, without
worrying if theyve been drinking too much when they intend to come back home. The minivans are
available on request (online), giving the ability to schedule the trip as soon as possible. Once the request is
done and the point for picking customers up is choose, the price is shown to the user on the basis of the
distance between the U-Bahn stop who has been chosen and the chosen club (ca 0.09 per person/km).
At the arrival, the driver will ask for the time the customers want to come back for taking them back
(between the ones who are available).
The service is available from Friday to Saturday and there are three 8-passengers vans.

Shopping Transportation Services

Since the most famous outlet is in Wertheim, the company provides a service for reaching the Wertheim
Village. The service operates between the train station of Hauptbahnhof (from Friday to Saturday from 9
AM to 5 PM and on Sunday from 12 AM to 3 PM) and the outlet Wertheim Village (from Friday to
Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM and on Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM).
There are 3 sixteen passenger vans. The ticket costs 15 for each person (ca 0.06 per person/km) since
the distance between the destinations is around 119 Kms2 (for going and coming back, they are 238
Kms).

Limo Transportation Services

Event Bus will offer limousine services in the Rein-Main Area for customers seeking a more private
transportation service. The service will be able to provide transportation for simple rides to the airports,
proms, weddings, and daily transportation needs of wealthier clients. There is less competition in this

Google Maps Estimation

Google Maps Estimation

market and the customers are less price sensitive, which will allow to charge premium prices for its
services. Since the company will rent limousine, Event Bus has decide to start a partnership with
Limousine Charter: the choice has been done considering that when someone rents a limousine, gives to
the user anything they need (driver too). So the company will get a percentage of the money spent from
the customer if he/she decided to have the transportation service with Event Bus. The contract with the
Limo company talks about a 5-10% of what the customer spends, since Event Bus does not have fixed
cost to deal with (just contacting the partner and booking the limo the customer asked for).

Sightseeing local tour Services

The company provides double decker bus sightseeing tours in Frankfurt am Main and closer monuments.
The tour will consist of surveying the Paulskirche, Rmer, Goethe-Haus, Main Tower, Alte Oper,
Palmengarten, Seckenbergmuseum, Messe, Hauptbahnhof, Museumsufer, Elserner Steg, AltSachsenhausen, Mainkai, Untermainkai, Zoo Frankfurt, Hauptwache. The total tour is around 20 kms.
The tickets are available online (website) and on the bus and there are of two kind:
1. All day: the ticket allows to use the buses as many times as the buyer wants, so that he/she can
drop off for visiting one of the bus stops monuments;
2. One hour and a half: the ticket allows to use only one bus, and if the ticket owner drop off for
visiting one of the bus stops monuments, has to buy another ticket. Generally its bought for
who wants to have an overview of the city.

Marketing Plan

The marketing plan consists of research about the private transportation market in Germany and the
entry barriers that the company will probably face upon entering it. The description of the features and
benefits of transportation services are also compared to similar services and to the competitors.
A detailed description of our online presentation is also available which includes website and app
and how both of these will be used by customers.
Another research conducted was about potential competitors this includes information about
competitors for different products such as Sightseeing tours, Airport shuttle services, Limousine services
and Event Transportation.
Below there is the plan of advertising and the companys estimation of how much will be spent on it.
Other information includes a potential Location, Distribution Channels and a 12 Month Sales
Forecast.

Economics
The Private Transportation Market in Germany
The private or occasional transportation service in Germany was used by 74 million passengers in the last
two years. In 2014, there were a total of 482 private companies across Germany that have transported
passengers in the locally, and 16 private companies that operate in the intercity or long distance transport
market.

The intercity or long distance passenger transport market has seen an increase of 13,9% in the first and
second quarters of 2014, compared to the previous year. The travelled distance has seen an increase of
21%.4
Since the liberalisation of the long distance transportation law in January 2013, the Bus transport market
has seen an increase of almost 180% compared to the previous year. In numbers, the total amount of
travelling passengers with Bus has increased from 3 million in 2012, to 8,2 million in 2013, which then
amounts to almost 2,7 billion travelled kilometres per passenger, compared to 1,2 billion in the previous
year.
Travel between cities has seen the biggest rise since the liberalisation. Out of the 8,2 million, 6,7 million
passengers have used alternative transport services (compared to railroads) to travel between cities in
Germany compared to 2,1 million in the previous year - an increase of 226%.5

Entry Barriers in the Transport Industry

The private transportation industry in Germany is very competitive and fought over. Especially the long
distance (above 100km) transportation has seen a price war since the law has been liberalised. Companies
that enter the business newly, try to stay competitive by offering low fares for person per kilometres.
Entering into this business requires a high capital cost, as the business requires at least a certain amount
of rented buses, minivans and limousines. The capital cost is even higher, if the company plans to

destatis.de PD14_351_461.html

purchase and establish an own fleet of vehicles.

To tackle this issue, the company plan (for the first year of business) is to lease vehicles from renting
vehicles companies, but also purchasing a small fleet of minivans. These are going to be used for short
distance transportation. To cover the cost of the purchased vehicles, the company will offer to other ones
advertising space on the minivans.
To operate on the company vehicles as a driver, a specific drivers license is required, which depends on
the amount of passengers that will be transported. For limousine and minivan services, a Fahrerlaubnis
zur Fahrgastbefrderung (short FzF) is required. A driver with an FzF can transport up to 8 passengers at
the same time.
To operate an Omnibus, or similar vehicle with above 8 and up to 16 passengers, a D1 license would be
required by the employee, while anything above 16 requires a DE license. All bus driving licenses are
regulated by EU law and there is a 5 year cycle where the license has to be renewed.6
One of the challenges for Event Bus, in this regard, is to find skilled and experienced employees that
already own a license who is required for the transport services, since it will operate in multiple fields,
which can possibly require some drivers to operate vehicles below 9 passengers but also to operate buses
with more passengers.
Effects will come from government regulations. The intercity transport industry has just been opened for
private companies and competitors, and it is still a new market that might face new regulations. Other
points would be the changes in the regulations of licenses, in required type of license to operate a certain
vehicle that transports passengers, in the qualifications, and in intercity transport which is regulated by the
duration of the ride and/or distance between destinations.

Product (Features and Benefits)

Convenience

Customers
Event Transportation Services
Transportation to/from theatrical performances, concerts and sport events will focus on 18-50 years old
age group based in Rein-Main area. This group classifies this kind of events as an experience and they

are happier to spend their money in it instead of spending them on material purchase. Another important
aspect is the love the customers have in their favorite sport team, band or singer. This subgroup will
spend a lot of money for reaching the event, also if they are far away from the location.
For concerts and sport events, the group is around 18-40 years old, no matter ethnicity, gender, sexual
orientation and so on: people just want to stay with people who have their same interest because we are
social animals and the social interaction is tied to happiness. Very important factor for concerts is that
for someone of the group, a band or singer can be a lifestyle, for example if they are musicians on their
own or if it is the way they make money (surely not as important as the band who is playing).
For Theatrical Performances, the group is around 30-50 years old, generally couple of people (married,
engaged, lovers), no matter ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation they belongs to. Another reason why
younger people wont go to theatre is because it is expensive.

Airport Transportation Services

The airport transportation service has no a specific target group, since people of any age travels. It is very
useful for people who are far away from the city and if they are looking for something cheaper than a taxi
service.

Shopping Transportation Services

The shopping transportation service targets people of any age who like to spend money for material
purchasing. Generally we are referring to people who love big brand name clothes and they are trying to
get them for a lower price. Another factor is that people like to use shopping as a mean to relax or to get
entertained or also for fantasizing about something who is not affordable.

Limo Transportation Services

For the limousine transportation service, there are two main target groups:

Business men/women;

People who is celebrating an important fact;

For the first group, there is no specific industry factor; generally the service is used from people who
belong to important medium/big companies and it is chosen because of its cost considerably less for
those who must attend several meetings throughout their visit, and the car is always available when
needed, while taxi must be called every time travel throughout the city and surrounding area is needed (it

doesnt take long for those fares to add up, especially if your driver purposefully sits in traffic or takes the
long way round). Thus, it is more private, cleaner and more personalized than a taxi service.
For the other group, we are referring to people of any age who wants to celebrate an important aspect of
their life (birthday, wedding, holidays, and so on). This is just way for them to remember in a particular
way the celebration.

Sightseeing local tour Services

The service is referred to people of any age who are not familiar to the area, generally people coming
from abroad or outside the region. It allows to have just an overview of monuments around the area or to
visit them also.

The company advantage, compared to the competitors, is the wide range of transportation services
offered at low prices and best comfort, and also the possibility of suggesting events who are still not been
organized. Since social connection is important, Event Bus allows users to get discounts for referrals to
their friends. There are also disadvantages. One of these is that at the beginning the profit will be
marginal, so it will take some time until this business will be lucrative. Therefore its a risk.

Niche
The companys market will focus on the greater Frankfurt area (Rhein Main Area) in the first years, where
it will try to establish its business while also planning expansion into other territories around Germany.
The focus will be on target groups from 18 years onward, trying to offer a wide portfolio, so that
different age groups and different target groups can be covered, based on their interests.

Strategy
Promotion
To promote the company, billboards and posters will be used around areas of Frankfurt which have high
human traffic such as Hauptbahnhof and the Frankfurt Airport. Also ads around the Frankfurt Messe are
inserted in the plan to target customers that like to visit events there. Other target areas would include the

University Campus on Westend.

Other media would include Radio advertising on local stations in Frankfurt and the Rhein Main area.
For advertising on Billboards, Posters and Radio Event Bus can operate via the company Crossvertise that
is specialised on the areas around Frankfurt and Germany. Advertising in Hauptbahnhof would cost
54,20 euros per day for a big poster on any selected area. While inside the Parking Lots of the Frankfurt
Messe would cost 15,10 Euros per Billboard on a daily basis, and finally inside the Train Station in the
Frankfurt Airport would cost 20,50 Euros for the selected area.

Figure 8 - Advertisement Examples

Radio Advertising in Frankfurt costs from 2 Euros per second, and upwards, depending on radio
station, day time, and target groups. The company will also use Crossvertise to advertise on selected radio
stations. The ad content would depend on the radio stations target age group.
The word of mouth advertising is used too, as in, already registered users of the company's website and
app will be able to invite their friends on social media. There will be an incentive for those active users,
such as discounts and coupons, for their desired events and services, if a certain amount of users they
invite also register at the website.
Repeat customers will also benefit from discounts and coupon codes independently from inviting other
users. There will also be discounts for repeat customers that book multiple seats (for friends, colleagues
etc.) per order.
Promotional Budget
The company start-up promotional budget (for the above mentioned advertising methods) will be around
3500 euros for the first month. We would pay 1626 Euros for 20 days of advertising on the
Hauptbahnhof, then 453 euros for 30 days of advertising on the Frankfurt Messe, 512,50 euros for
Airport advertising and the rest of the budget would be used for Radio ads and smaller poster ads around
the city.

Ongoing budget would rise depending on the success of the company business, to expand the
advertising, such as having longer and more ads on the mentioned areas, having ads in other parts of the
city and also increasing radio time.
Proposed Location
Event Bus location is very important to customers because they need to have good access to available
services. The chosen location is elected to the applicable branch. The place of business is convenient. It is
central and easy to reach by public transport. Parking isnt offered a lot since of the provided services are
situated in the centre of Frankfurt. When customers enter in the companys place of business, they
receive an inviting and warming feeling with lounge. The place is consistent with the image of the
company because convenience and good service are very important for its policy and business.
The expectations of the customers are:

feeling comfortable in the use of the service;

reaching the desired places in an easy way.

The main competition is located in Frankfurt central railway station and Frankfurt Airport where also the
most people operate. It is better, for the company, to be near the competition because it will be perceived
by customers. Thus, it increases the degree of brand awareness and will be easier to get involved in the
market. Hence Event Bus hopes to win customers from the competitors.
Distribution Channels
Initially the distribution channel will be E-commerce. Customers will have the ability to visit Event Bus
website or use its mobile app to book their ticket for the service they need. The booking process will be
very easy and customers will choose between the event transportation, airport transportation, disco
transportation, shopping transportation, limo transportation and sightseeing local tours - depending on
the destination, date and pick-up location. Customers will pay by credit card at the time of booking. The
payment will be accepted if the minimum number of participants has been reached. Once it is, an e-mail
will inform the user that the money has been taken from the given credit card. It is possible to ask, via email or form, to organize a concert or event trip that is not in the database and the company will try to
organize it if there are enough interested people. Cancellations must be made more than a week before
the time of reservation in order to refund the money.
For the mobile app, an account will be required. Users can register an account, or directly connect their
social media/E-Mail account (Facebook, Google+, etc.). Connected social media accounts will allow the

users to invite social network friends to the app/service. For each invited friend that books a ticket, the
user will count towards a referral discount.

Sales Forecast
Event Bus has created a sales forecast spreadsheet using industry data (cost per km per passenger) and
attached potential sales (per seat), using an average estimation for sold seats, i.e. estimating that 50% of
the seating capacity will be filled for each transportation service.
The seating price is estimated based on the length of the route to and back from the destination point,
using Google Maps to get the distance the destinations, from the Airport to the City, from Hauptbahnhof
to certain Discos/Clubs in the Area, to Outlet Malls and to sport events. The prices range is between
0.04 and 0.09 per kilometer and the sale price per seat is calculated by distance and average price.
Seasonal estimations have been done for certain services, such as an increase in Sport Events
transportations when a new Sports Season begins, or in increasing in passenger seats when there are more
Concerts available.

VI. Operational Plan

Production
Event Bus has not products but offers services in Frankfurt Am Main and around the city. The essential
element of the company is the software development, so the website & apps (Android, iOs) creation, to
release a structured and user-friendly online platform. The booking of the services are available online and
the payments are done only with credit cards.
The cost are:
1. renting a building as HQ and whatever is connected to it (electricity and telephone bill,
computers and writing materials);
2. SW & HW maintenance (physical machines + website);
3. Salaries;
4. Cars (Vans, fuel, car taxes, insurance and revisions);
5. Economic & Medical, consulting;
6. Bank registering for the payments;
7. Call center (telephones and so on).
The company needs a call center for allowing the customers to get support when they have a problem
with the service they are using, for having additional information, for personalizing offered services and
for giving a feedback.
The Quality control touches various aspects of the company who first needs to check vehicles insurance,
taxes, validity driver licenses and car revisions. Important is to update the app and website, so that the
users can always have information about new events and new services that the company has released.
Other aspect is to be up to date with the taxes payments, employers salaries. The drivers who are
working for the company are subject to alcohol & blood analysis for checking they are in the right
condition to drive. They have also to write a report for each trip they do (for example checking the
assigned vehicle) and, every year, medical visits for the drivers, in the case they use drugs.
Product development refers to web marketing (for example online advertisement) for finding customers.

Location and Physical requirements

Amount of space
The companys amount of space on central railway station and Frankfurt Airport is limited because the rental
price is very high, there. So Event Bus doesnt have the possibility in the beginning to have much amount of
space;

Type of building: It is a transportation building (to be more precise, it contains bus stations for
transportation people);

Power and other utilities: 244,50 kWh/(m*a)

Access
It is important that the location is convenient to transportation because if someone needs information for
his/her request, it should be easy for him/her to achieve the service. So, it makes sense to have easy walk-in
access for customers, so they can access without problems.
Event Bus wants to have the location near the central railway station because many people operate there and
this can allow them to easily access to the services. Thus, the location has free parking on weekends and allows
family dropping off customers to get in and out of there quick and simple.

The business hours will be from Monday to Sunday from 7.00 to 20.00 (expect for the call center).
Occupation expenses

Rent: 15 euro per m

Utilities: 2 euro per m

Insurance: 8.93 euro per month

Legal Environment
The market is regulated by German transportation laws of passengers.
To be able to operate on the company vehicles, the employees must have a specific license. To drive the
limousine or minivan with up to 8 passengers, a driver must have a Fahrerlaubnis zur
Fahrgastbefrderung (short FzF).
Omnibus drivers must have a D1 license to transport 8 to 16 passengers, while anything above 16
passengers requires a DE license. These licenses are regulated by EU law and need to be renewed each 5
years.

The transportation business is regulated under the German Personenbefrderungsgesetzes (PBefG).

A company needs to acquire a permit to legally transport passengers. The PBefG covers transportation
via Minivans, Omnibuses and generally all transportation services that have a higher cost (as in, having
profits) than what would just be the cost of the transport alone.9
The permit to transport passengers is of temporary nature and it will need to be renewed regularly to keep
the business going.
Regional transportation or intercity transportation is being regulated since the beginning of 2013.
Companies are now able to transport passengers between cities or generally on longer distances,
compared to before where the transport was much stricter as to protect public transport (Deutsche
Bahn).
The companys intercity (or long distance services) are also regulated. To qualify as a long distance travel
(Fernbus), the distance between two destinations has to be longer than 50 kilometers in length or longer
than one hour in duration. Also there cannot be any stop in these 50 kilometers, otherwise the transport
does not qualify as Fernreise.

Personnel
Initially, the main parts of the business will be operated by the three founders, Alessio Nazio, Christos
Terzis and Jasenko Donlagic. Jasenko will be responsible for the Finances and human resources. Alessio
will be responsible for our web presentation (web site, app, maintenance) and also advertising, while
Christos will be responsible for Logistics and Event Planning.
As the company and so its budget - grows and expands, Event Bus will obviously employ additional
staff to manage web presentation, advertising, logistics and other departments mentioned before.
The company will employ drivers for the Minivans and also drivers for Buses. Depending on the demand
of the services, more drivers will be employed to cover multiple areas, preferably, employing skilled
drivers that own multiple licenses for vehicle operations, so that there is the possibility to cover many
kind of vehicles (best way for organizing the staff).

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personenbef%C3%B6rderungsgesetz_(Deutschland)

Drivers will be paid from 11,45 per hour and upwards depending on skill level, previous experiences and
licensed owned. The minimum wage per hour as of right now in Hessen is 11,45, but it will increase
during the year. From 01.10.2015, the minimum wage will be 12 per hour.10
For our limousine service, there is no staff, since the partnership with a limousine charter service who
provides itself the staff in the limousine.

Inventory
The inventory is basically the number of seats that can offered per transportation service and price per
inventory would be the price per kilometer per passenger, which will range between 0.04-0.09 per
person/km (depending on the number of participants, toll roads...).
Event Bus will rent four buses from a bus rental company, which will be operational for Airport Shuttle
Services with 50 seats per bus. Cost per passenger/seat: 0.09 per kilometer.
It will own three minivans for Disco transport, with each having 8 seats. The price per km per person is
0.09. The minivans will be purchased and property of the company.
Another three minivans with a capacity of 8 seats will be available for shopping events.
The partnership with Limousine Charter allows to have a variable amount of limos available, which will
depend on the demand of Limousine services.
Four buses will be rented for the local sightseeing tour service. These buses are double decker type (2
floors buses) so each tour will be able to take 60-70 passengers.

For Excellent-VIP-Service, there is no need to have more supplier since is a company specialized into
limousine transportation service and, thanks to its various car catalogue, Event Bus can redirect the
customers to the choice who fits their desires the best. If the partner will increase the costs of the renting
limos, Event Bus could possibly ask for some modification for the next partnership contract and, in case,
look for cheaper and better competitors than Excellent-VIP-Service.
The same can be said for Irro-Reisen coach charter service.

VII. Management and Organization

The ownership of the company will be divided as a partnership between the three founders. Alessio
Nazio will own 34% of the company, Christos Terzis 33%, and Jasenko onlagi 33%. Initially, these
three will manage the business on a day to day basis. As we grow as a business we will employ more
managerial staff to lead the different branches of the company.
Alessio Nazio recently graduated with a BA in Computer Science from Universit degli studi di Roma Tor
Vergata. In his thesis, he studied the diffusion of an app and the importance of the user referrals in social
networks. He will be responsible for iOs and Android app creation, creation of websites, PC
maintenance, IT consulting. These will serve as a great advantage to the company, since the low budget at
the beginning. He is also the "man in the middle" between the customer care call center
and the customers.
Christos Terzis has recently completed his bachelor degree in Computer Science at the Goethe University
in Frankfurt and is currently working on his master degree. He has worked for S.Oliver in the logistic
department and has planed some sports and party events for friends. Therefore he will be responsible for
logistics and event planning.
Jasenko onlagi is studying Bachelor Computer Science on the Goethe University in Frankfurt. Before
his studies, he has worked in a Bank in Retail and Risk Operation as System Administrator and Team
Leader, where he has gathered experience in the financial industry and working together with different
financial departments from different eastern European countries. Jasenko will be responsible for Finances
and Advertising, while also managing human resources.

VIII. Startup Expenses and Capitalization

According to research, Event Bus has calculated its expanses in the table below.
Capital Equipment: Includes office furniture, equipment such as Telephones, Fax Machines,
Computers and a little padding (other) in case of additional costs.
Location and Admin Expenses: according to Immobilienscout24 for Office Rentals in Frankfurt am Main,
the monthly average price per m2 for an office is usually around 15.
2-3 is the price for utility per month.
Parking rent for the 6 minivans of the company costs between 60 and 70 per month per each minivan.
Prepaid insurance for drivers and vehicles is another expense, using ARAG as insurer for the company
staff and vehicles, which will amount to 1000 per Year (around 700 for Minivans and 300 for drivers).
Calculating the salaries for drivers and call agents, the hourly pay for a driver is 11,4511 while the pay for
call center agents is 6.
Other costs include Hosting (240 per year), an iOS Developers Account license fee of 125 and an
Android Developers Account license fee.
Opening Inventory: since the inventory consists of vehicles and seats, Event Bus counts 6 minivans as
inventory. The cost per Minivan on autoscout24 is around 2000-2500 for a 8-seats Minivan.
Advertising and Promotional Expenses: Crossvertise is the chosen advertising platform, and th company
spends around 3500 for Advertising on it (posters, radio and also signage and printing). Audio Guides
for our Sightseeing Tours costs 21 per Guide and they are going to be ordered these on Alibaba.com .
Each of the three owners will invest a certain amount of money into the company (listed below) and
contingency reserve, in case we have additional expenses, is needed.

Break-Even Analysis
The Break-Even Analysis is based on the Profit and Loss Projection. There will be no Break-Even point
if the company is going to rent the buses during the first 12 months. It has been supposed that if the
company decides to purchase 4 buses for the Shuttle Service, there would be a Break-Even point. One of
the chart is showcasing this with the assumption that the purchase of the buses is done in September and
the Break-Even point is reached in December.
