Pls Note the yellow on the screen in the top right corner
Remove the battery cover.
2. The back Cover is tight, pls be careful and patient to tear down it to
avoid damage to the battery cover.
3. Tighten all screws out of mid frame
4. There is a double-sided adhesive under the battery, pls be careful to
dismantle it. There is a screw on the board.
5. There are several slots here,pls be careful and patient to tear down it to
avoid damage.
6. Now only the touch screen and the box is lefe for dismantling.
The customer who buy a set of TPLCD and box assembly can ahere the
components to the new TPLCD-box assembly directly
The Customer wh only purchase TPLCD ,Pls have your TPLCD replaced by
the professional repair shop to avoid damage .The technician will use
professional tools to teardown the tplcd fro the box
the TPLCD Dismantling down in the right side : remember get the original
red-box component attached to the new TPLCD screen,

calculations are correct, the OnePlus Ones battery is about to be
subtracted.
The spudger performs the necessary arithmetic, and the 3.8 V, 3100 mAh
LiPo battery is ours (and yours) to inspect.
This battery sports a maximum charging voltage of 4.35 V, and the
following warnings and cautions (paraphrased):
Only use with approved chargers
Keep ventilated while charging
Do not tear down, short circuit, or puncture

Then turn the focus to the front panel assembly.
Six screws (two of them hidden under more rubber plugs) and a flick of a
spudger later, weve got the speaker assembly enclosure out.
The OnePlus One features a set of Yamaha stereo speakers that connect to
the motherboard via spring contacts.
In the bottom center of the speaker assembly enclosure, we find a sticker
that changes colors when orcs are near. It also acts as a water damage
indicator.

under a slot in the midframe.

This daughterboard is the permanent home of various components,
including the vibrator and primary microphone.
Along the bottom of the daughterboard are three LEDs for the front panel

of the display.

And now for something completely different. Its iOpener time!

With the display assembly stripped down to the midframe, its time to test
out a common repair: screen replacement!
After some heat and a bit of prying with an opening pick, we separate the

display assembly from the midframe.

Its not a fun job, but its certainly easier than another One we opened up
on our teardown table.
The midframe bears the designation PC+GF, indicating it was made of
polycarbonate infused with glass fibers.
Were a bit disappointed we cant file it away and light it on fire, like
weve done in the past. Sadness.
Step 21
OnePlus One Repairability Score: 5 out of 10 (10 is easiest to repair).
No proprietary screws and only one screw head type decreases cost of
tools for repairs.
Fairly modular components will allow for less expensive replacement
parts.
Slight adhesive used on the battery and several cables.
With its connector trapped under a plastic panel and several screws, the
battery is more of a chore to replace than necessary.
The LCD and digitizer glass are fused together and must be replaced as a
single part, and they require heat to remove from the midframe.

smartphone will run OnePlus

One Plus smartphone and also more recently confirmation that the
company will create its own Android ROM.
Today,Pete Lau, CEO of One Plus spoke of the future of the company and
also confirmed One Plus are indeed developing their own ROM (Possibly
for Android+)
And suggested that the next generation One Plus smartphone will run the
companies own custom Android ROM.
While no word has been made about the continued relationship with
Cyanogen for the International market.
